Does this bow make my butt look big?
 
So we went to the vet today to get Chloe's health certificate for the flight to Kansas City for the meet-up. Well, Chloe hasn't been weighed in a long time. My kitchen scale tops out at 5lbs, so the last time I weighed her, she was under 5lbs. I knew she was probably over 6 now, but I didn't know how much. She's also been so healthy, she hasn't been to the vet except for vaccinations! :thumbup:

So they weighed her, and would you believe little Miss Porker is 6lbs 14 oz!!!:eek:

Chloe says that it was not her TRUE weight because she was wearing a collar, a dress, and a bow when she was weighed, and she also needed to go potty at the time :o

I jest, of course. The vet said she's at the perfect weight for her size--not too plump and not too skinnny. This is actually really good because a year ago, she was quite underweight as she was not eating well until we switched her food.

Lol, that's so funny, but be careful what you say around her, I hear there's a awful lot of Yorkierexia going around.:D

Oh mom a girl has to have some secrets...lol.

I took my friend to my vet on wed with her dog. When the put her dog up on the scale it read 20 lbs. My girlfriend was holy moley I thought she weighed like 10 lbs. So she quickly takes off her collar, leash and harness and was like there precious is not that heavy...it only took off a pound. :yelrotflm I about peed myself when I realized why she took off all the gear :lol tears:lol tears

She's the same size as my Kalina, who probably COULD stand to lose a few ounces. Like you, I'm just glad she's healthy and doesn't miss a meal. She has so much energy too. Your baby is adorable!! :)

Tha's so funny! When I brought Madison here on March 20, he weighed 2 1/2 lbs (he was starving to death). Then when I took him to the vet last month, he weighed 5 something....he just got his vaccinations and when he got his rabies shot, I weighed him....7.3 lbs:eek: *I decided it was probably really only 7 lbs b/c he had a collar with tags and a harness on*:rolleyes:...two weeks later when I got his booster shots, he was 7.8 lbs:eek::eek::eek:. I think I've created a monster, LOL. He doesn't look a lb over 6 though:D

I am more than certain that Gizmo has now reached 8lbs, but it's not official or anything. So......whoo hoo! Maybe he can join the well-loved, teapot club now!:D

Aww give the poor girl a break. Even if the bow does make her butt look big mommy should protect her feeeling and tell her she is buttiful! It all them baby, not you, your purfect!And at least she is not anorexic like my miss Bridget.. holy cow the girl is insanly huge with babies and still wont eat unless I hand feed her! So better to have a baby wuth a puffy butt and bow vs a girl with an insecurity complex about her weight a week before delivery!!! LOL

hahaha, believe it or not, i told my mickey that he was a fatty for a while,
i'm like 'awwwwwe who's my little fatty?' or 'hey fatty lets go for a walk'
and he actually lost a lb at the next vet check up and we haven't switched his food at all. he's been eating the same brand of food for 10 yrs

Your lucky, Dr. Phil said that calling someone, "fatty" can make them eat even more. I just hope you haven't ruined his "confidence". :eek:
