Questions My yorkies are AKC reg. with no restrictions. I was wondering what the circumstances would be to put restrictions on them. Is there a certain reason for this? Just wondering, I'm kinda new at this. If the mama's & daddy's are registered is it regulation to reg. the babies also? |
Their are several reasons yorkies are given limited registration... Because the breeder are "protecting" the lines they have developed. Or producing a puppy which is out of standard or confirmation...such as due to size, bad bites, etc. Or they don't wish to ever chance a puppy from one of their lines ended up in a puppymiller situation or with an unreputable breeder If the sire and dam are registered...while it's not a regulation to register the litter most breeders do. After that it is up to the new owners whether or not they complete the registration of the individual puppy. |
Thank you, I think I get it. I figure that when my babies come I won't be able to let them go. I know the one will be okay in a new home but I just don't know how much I would trust others with my little ones. |
