Pet Insurance Advice Hi Everyone I am looking at getting my babies pet insurance and I have narrowed it down to one company because I like what they offer. Can you please look through this and let me know feedback? It includes the following Accident and Illness coverage Hospitalization Surgery Hereditary conditions Diagnostics Prescription Medications Vaccinations Annual Exams Dentistry (covers annual cleaning and emergency dental) Spaying/Neutering Heartworm & Flea Control Prescriptions Here are the monthly rates depending on the deductible you choose. $100 Deductible $64.13 $250 Deductible $51.91 $500 Deductible $38.28 $750 Deductible $29.52 $1000 Deductible $23.29 I dont know what to pick. Im thinking because of the preventative things that it would make sense to pick the lowest yearly deductible but at the same time its not cheap. Can you help me out? I want them to have the best coverage without costing me thousands if something were to go wrong. Thank you |

Pet insurance advice I too have been looking at insurance and it is all so confusing. At the same time I was looking my Yorkie hurt his leg a tiny fracture for which $3400 in surgery was recommended but I could not afford. I elected to let the leg heal on its own. My Diddy's leg is almost back to normal use with a tendency to favor the leg. The visit to the vet and specialist cost me $900. It seems that no visit to the vet in most cases are under $100 at least here in Canada therefore if you can afford it go for the $100 deductible. I am very glad I did not have the surgery though as the results could not be guaranteed but I would still like to get some insurance at some point. Good luck. |
