I have a question... I have ordered car seats for Oliver and Brooklyn. The lookout II to be exact...my question to anyone that uses carseats is: Do you have to use a specific kind of harness to attach them to the seat, or can you use your everyday walking kind of harness? I would appreciate any of your input..we are taking a trip in August and i want them to be safe. Thank you |
You can use a harness like a step-in or harness vest for our little dogs - anything secure. I just connect it to whatever harness they are wearing. They make fancy padded car harnesses but mine lay down in their seats so unless we stop EXTREMELY fast or get into a crash, it's the seat that's going to stop them not the strap. The strap is more for safety in a crash or if you slam on the brakes and also to make sure they don't climb OUT of the seat. Trust me, they figure out that they cannot get out pretty quickly. :D |
Thankyou so much for the reply! I appreciate it!:D |
car seat and harness We just use the harness that he has on while walking. We walk him to the car and he tries to jump up (we actually have a full size pickup truck). The car seat we use works really well. |
