When does a Yorkie's ears start to stand up? I am wondering why my 13 week old Suzi does not have ears standing straight up? When does this usually happen? I have seen younger Yorkie's pictures who have their ears up? Is there something wrong with Suzi's ears? :animal-pa :aimeeyork |
Hey, I just did a "search" and there is scads of info on YT about that. Want me to tell you how to do it or do you know how? Let me know. I typed in "ears stand up." Good luck. |
most people have to shave the hair off of their baby's ears... because it makes it too heavy... as far as when do they stand up? correct me if Im wrong but I think its when they are usually yonger like around 8 weeks... sometimes people will tape their ears to stand up... there are a lot of yorkies on here that have floppy ears... I think its SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!! |
My self, shave the babies ears at 6 weeks, then at 7 to 8 weeks I tape their ears, some may flop down, just tape them again for another couple of days and see.... So I would shave the ears right now, and then tape. Good luck! |
Puppies are different and also sometimes when the ears are up. They are teething and they will flop back down. Go and see all the info on ears on YT there are lots of info on that. But you need to shave them, tape them for 3 days and then see if they stand on there own. If not do it again for another 3 days. Keep on them they will finally come up. Others don't do anything. Just like children getting teeth and walking they all do it at different times. |
