Why Does She Wet Our Bed ??? we have a happy house trained 7 month old pup. In the last two days out of the blue, we had been out with her, came in I was ironing and in front of me wet the bed (in our spare room) !!! the doors were open and she could come and go as she pleased. I put it down to an accident being still a pup, but tonight out of the blue and for no reason has jumped on our bed and wet that !!! WHY ?? incidently she sleeps on our bed. could it be defiance ??or is it a way to say "IM NOT HAPPY" she was spayed 2 weeks ago and is over it I think after complications, well physically anyway, but has been behaving normally.... anyone got any suggestions or is it another faze ??? |
I've never experienced this before, but I have read of other people going through it. I know Kacee had an accident or two after she was spayed, but that was it. She never did again. Since it has only been two weeks since she was spayed, then perhaps that is it. Personally, I'm inclined to think she is trying to tell you something...like she wants attention instead of you working. They are attention hogs, you know?:D |
sometimes this happens,, it happened to me , dont know why, but just be patient and it will work out,, promise |

A dog who gets on your bed and pees does so for one of three main reasons: 1. Your dog is marking and claiming your bed. (Girl dogs do this as well.) or 2. Your dog is ill and has no other way of telling you. 0r 3. Your dog is about to go into heat and that will inrease urination. Check her to see if she is getting swollen in the female region (provided she is not spayed.), if so, this could be the cause of the bed wetting and can be resolved with a doggie diaper! If your dog has a clean bill of health, you need to work on pack leader establishment. If she is marking/claiming your bed, she is telling you she rules the house and you are beneath her. You may need to make some changes in your home (new rules for a while) to establish yourself as the leader and put an end to this behavior. |
