Finger's crossed they get back to you. A better home could not be found. I hope it works out for this little one. How sad but I understand they have no problem at all once they find their way around in their new home. Good luck to you, |
Poor baby? Quote:
He is blissfully unaware :) and I'm certain, is a happy, silly, perfectly content little baby who will, no doubt, bring a wealth of newfound understanding, compassion and joy to each and every person he encounters! How wonderful that God shares with us, these little "examples" of how very much of what He's given us, is taken for granted every day of our lives.... can you imagine what this little boy will do to help heal the spirit of a broken child? A person struggling with a handicap? Don't pity him..... smile for him... and know that he is BLESSED with the ability to bring much comfort and love to so many who will thrive on JUST what he can give!! This little boy is going to have a fabulous life!! And I'm confidant that he will help make the lives of others as beautiful!! :angelyork The pictures/video below are not mine... but I love the song and think it's a perfect representation of "why these terrible things happen".... Kudos to Dr. Kirby and the YTCLA for their kindness to this precious little guy!! :cheer: Enjoy the day all.... :ghug: |

I love that song also Dena... :) When I see any animal with a disability it always tugs at my heart and make me grateful but then I remember there are so many kind hearted people out there that their chances of being adopted into a loving home are very good. It's the others, the "just ones in so many" that they are overlooked that make me cry and truly breaks my heart.:( |
I do pray that whoever adopts him is a stay at home person with a LOT of patience, love and willingness to learn how to raise and train a blind dog. It's totally different than raising a seeing dog. My Delsi was blind for over a year before she passed away and the time it took to take care of her and all her needs was exhausting. I would hate to see someone adopt this baby boy out of pity and find they can't cope with the insurmountable problems that will come. |

I also hope they are willing to give up vacations, traveling, and moving and/or rearranging their furniture. Additionally, I hope he goes to a home with someone with good intentions and not to someone who is says, "Oh, the guy from Big Brother bought me this dog." |
