essential requirements for boarding I booked Tia into a place to board, although I have paid the deposit, im getting cold feet and I thinking of cancelling. I am apprehensive because of the level of contact she will have with people, she will not be in contact with any other dogs which perhaps is a good thing as I don't want her to get hurt by a big, bully dog. What are the essential requirements you would look out for before deeming a place suitable? There was an AMAZING, doggy spa place that I was dead set on taking her to, until I found out the price is was over 400 GB POUNDS  for her stay. If I had the money I would have taken her there without a second thought but I don't so I have to take her to a typical boarding place. I wish I could take her, but we are travelling to the caribbean, to an Island that does not recognise dog passports. Its a family holiday so there are no family members that I can leave her with. Should I be worrying? I am getting myself so worked up, on the verge of tears, when I think about her being in a strange place all by herself :( |
I completely understand your worrying about leaving her...I personally have never left my dogs at a boarding place but I know I would worry. Maybe there is someone here that lives near you that can watch her for you. Try posting in the general section asking if anyone living near you would be able to watch her. I would trust another yorkie person and she would have fun playing too. |
