Mercedes gave me a scare that made my heart stop! 1 Attachment(s) OMG, I had the puppies and Tiah outside playing as I was trying to get some good pictures (which is getting harder and harder by the day). The puppies play hard and run fast now...the problem is their brake systems don't work real good yet. I heard a loud "CRACK!" and realized Little Mercedes ran right into brick steps! Tiah and I both ran to her (she was only like 3 feet from us) and Mercedes cried out loud when Tiah touched her. My heart just stopped....I picked her up and her eyes were droopy....scared the crap out of me. I kissed her and checked her all over. She was all better after 30 seconds, but what a LONG 30 seconds that was!!!! She must have been stunned. I did get like 3 okay pictures and 40 really bad or fuzzy ones. It is amazing how many puppy butt shots you end up with once they are moving around so much! Here is one of the okay ones.... |

Oh, P.S. don't mind my yard, only the weeds survived the extreme heat! LOL  |

They are so cute. I'm glad your Mercedes is ok. Gus still runs into walls when playing. All you hear is a thump and a small yelp. He just shakes it off and continues playing. |

How cute! Glad your heart is beating again. They can make you gray too. LOL |

How is Mercedes feeling now? |

I'm glad that little Mercedes is allright. Wow, I know that they really can put the fear right into us. The other day the boys were playing on the deck and Archie ran smack right into the screen on the patio door, it was kind of funny because he just bounced off but what if the glass door was closed  ? Sometimes you just can"t be everywhere at the same time they are... |

I'm glad that Mercedes is alright. It is very scary when something like that happens. My boyfriend was playing with Deegan one day in the hallway and all of a sudden Deegan went to turn around to run in the other direction and smacked his poor little head on the door frame of the spare room. I never flew up those stairs faster than that day. He yelped so loud and for what seemed like an eternity. All my boyfriend could blurt out was "I didn't do anything to him, I didn't do anything at all." He said that because I am always on him to stop being so rough with the little guy. So I checked him out, as he kept yelping, but couldn't see anything. After a few minutes he calmed down, but the next morning I noticed a huge red bump just above his eye. Kind of on his brow bone. I felt so bad for him... We all hate to see our babies in pain. |

Poor Mercedes. When that happens- its true- your heart almost stops!! Luig has done that to me many, MANY times! Luig has knocked the wind out of him self more times than I can even remember! And that 30 secs, seems more like an eternity! But, what a great pic of your sweeties!!! I bet you are constantly on the go with all of them now!! hehe!!! Never a dull minute!!!! |

Thank goodness little Mercedes is okay! Is she the one standing in the picture, or the other one! The are all so darling and I want you to know, I didn't even notice the grass because I was looking at the puppies, but then when you mentioned it, I went back to look at your grass. haha! Hot spells sure don't do the grass any good! |

Thanks for your concern everyone :) . I see you have all been scared a time or two yourselves! I looked at that picture again....if you have time go back and look at it....Mercedes is standing on one foot only...kind of funny :p It looks like they are all trying to get Tiah's attention and Little Mercedes is saying "Look what I can do Mamma, look what I can do!" LOL |

I am so glad that she is okay. By the way I love your avatar! |
