I bought, no, rescued a Himalayan kitten from a pet store. He was nearly starved to death. The way I see it, I saved his life. The pet store I got him from eventually went out of business, within a year or two, so I don't feel like I supported the store or the mill he came from. He is the best cat I have ever had. A pet store would not be my first choice for a source for a pet, but if the animal is healthy, it deserves a shot at a good life. It's not his fault that he came from a mill. |
