ARRRH!! Roxie just came into heat. Roxie was scheduled to be spayed Tuesday while Pixie had her dental and she just came into heat. She looked swollen the past few days and just now I wiped her and blood!! I so wanted to get it over with!!! Now we have to wait until July. |
inches from a clean getaway! I'm so sorry you missed the window! My yorkie is Roxie as well - they are such dolls! Keep your little girl comfortable till she's feeling herself again. There's no psychiatrist to equal a dog licking your face!:animal36 |

Thanks Roxie will be 8 months tomorrow. I would think you will be ok if you get it done by 7 1/2 months |
Patti, I am so very sorry. I know for me it's har enough to "psyche" myself up to put them under then knife, but then to have to cancel and wait for a couple of months :( AND to have to deal with a little one in heat can be a barrel of laughs  hugs to you :ghug: |
I am worried Paisley will go into heat before she has her spay done. I took her in last month and we ended up with no spay and her having tests that concluded she has a liver shunt. She just turned 7 months and we are planning on having her liver shunt surgery and spay done around the end of July. That would make her 9 months. I have no idea what to do with a dog in heat. I am so sorry your little one came into heat before her spay. Good luck! |
Aww i am so sorry this has happend. |
Wow...So sorry this happened. |
Total bummer for you both. I hope Roxie isn't in too much discomfort and you both make it through this quickly!!! |
Thanks so far she has been fine, maybe a little quieter and picking on Cali more. I really wanted her and Pixie to be together for their seperate surgeries Tuesday, now Pixie will be alone but at least I can bring her home pretty soon after her dental. Cali came into heat at at 8 months too. |
