Tennis Balls as Toys...Tooth Enamel Danger? I have heard several people say that tennis balls are bad to play with for your dogs because their saliva mixes with the adhesive used to put the "fuzz" on, and it actually can cause tooth decay. Does any one here know if this is true or not? |
Wow! I've never heard of that but I will be interested to see who knows about this on YT. I have those teeny tiny tennis balls for my pup & my cat & they love them.:animal-pa:animal-pa:animal-pa:animal-pa |
I personally have never heard anything about this, but it doesn't mean it isn't so, who knows. BUT, I do know I won't let Maggy may play with tennis balls anymore for the simple fact that she pulls the fuzz off them in chunks and I'm afraid she'll choke on them. So, the tennis balls we had got for her, I tossed them all in the trash. |
:eek:Tessa LOVES playing with the little tennis balls! We spend hours shoooting it back and forth to each other! It is her favorite game.:D |
Same with Evie!! actually it's the only toy she likes:( I hope what you've said isn't true |
Oh goodness. Same here. Amelia loves playing "tennis ball!" Hope to more on this. |
Wish i could get Bailey to bring the ball back :( i throw it for him and he zooms after it.. sniffs it and runs off to something else more exciting. so i then run and pic it up again shout ''Bailey whats this'' throw it again for him ... he zooms after it and again sniffs it and runs off lol. Is there anthing i can do to make him more intrested? |
Madeleine loves her tennis ball too! Hope they're safe! |
As far as the enamel I don't know, but Max is not allowed to play with tennis balls, he starts chewing on them and gets all the fuss:eek: |
