Please beware of a bad breeder in Rocklin, Ca. Currently I have ad in our local newspaper warning people of this bad breeder. We bought a puppy from her and our little Blueberry Muffin to Parvo after numerous attempts to save her life. The breeder won't replace or refund. Her name is Brook Cardenas. Currently she is selling under a fake name and other cell numbers because I have exposed her. We have a civil case against her. We have a letter from a vet as well as a autopsy report that states the puppy was very sick before I received her. Visit my warning ad and spread the word. What a hearbreak. I am so sorry, what should have been a wonderful time
in your life turned out to be a nightmare. Good for you to expose this
horrible person. I truly hope she get's put out of business. Poor little
puppy and you can't help but wonder how many more are suffering under
her roof. I hope something good comes out of this for you. Not to even
give you another is plain cruel. Perfect example of greed.
I hope you find another healthy puppy when the time is right and you
live happy ever after.

I am so sorry for your loss. You should have been celebrating you new arrival instead of dealing with heartbreak. I hope you can win your case and there will not be any new such heartaches.

I am absolutely speechless. I know these people exist but it is just too heart wrenching to think of it. I am glad that you are getting your story out and exposing this terrible breeder for what she really is...please keep us posted and let us know if she is held responsible for what she is doing. So sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry for your loss. We bring these babies home expecting to have many years of sharing love with them but there are people out there that all they care about is the money and could care less about the puppy. I hope she (the breeder)gets Parvo!

Sorry that you are going through this horrible experience. There are good breeders out there and there's definitely some of them here on YT. After your heart heals I hope that you will consider getting another Yorkie, or maybe two. A lot of us here on YT have more than one. Yorkies are one of a kind and are the greatest.

to have to go thru the heartbreak of your puppy losing her life - then getting treated that way you are so right - People need to be warned - I'd be posting it everywhere I could and also call the newspaper - she needs to be stopped from selling - oh - call the aspca and animal cops on her too.....

That the worst thing I like to hear. Familly gets really for a new baby and breeder sells sick baby. Sorry for your lost and keep on the fight. Your in the hands of the court now, but you can help others before they fall for her lies.

can you give me the real or fake name this breeder goes by, I am dealing with blueberry brook yorkies and not getting a warm fuzzy feeling. thx for any help in advance. her name is jennie lambert and is the daughter of another breeder.

The original post of this thread was from 2008, and it was the only post that person ever made here. I doubt he’s still around to respond to your request. However, if you’re getting bad feelings about a breeder — trust those feelings. Puppy scams of various kinds are always a problem but are much, much worse now, when so many people want companionship during the pandemic.

When buying a dog always ask for the akc litter number, require a visit before deposit. Ask for their primary vet information, 1 year health guarantee, and make sure that you get vet check and shot paperwork to ensure they're not doing at home shots. When i bought my yorkie the breeder would not accept a deposit until i visited and saw the puppy in person. Its an expensive investment up front to fly their and back, but it will save a lot of money in the long run. The breeder should always reply to questions same day. When i picked up my yorkie i was given everything to take care of her for months. Huge bag of dog food, tons of treats, toys, and puppy pads.
