How can i tell if this is a internet scam?
 

Im looking for a female yorkie puppy, and this lady contacted me back regarding this little one. Im not sure if its a scam, How can i tell and be a 100% sure?

I have no idea... BUT it does sound a bit weird that she is giving the puppy for free but wants u to pay for shipping and other costs. I dunno am very bad at things like this. Good luck with what ever u decide to do hun.

Do not touch that with a ten foot pole. You will send the money for shipping and you will never receive a dog. If she wanted a good home for the dog she would give it to someone close to her so she could meet them and inspect their home. This is big business and don't fall for it. :thumbdown

It sounds just like someone that replied to me. Turns out they are in Cambodia or some other foreign place. I would be very careful.

I would never send money to someone who claims they want the puppy to go to loving home but not really know where or who the puppy is going to. Why couldn't they find someone local? Maybe they just want the money.:mad: And the puppy seems a little young to be leaving their home. If there is even a puppy at all. I would be very careful with the internet there's alot of scammers preying on innocent people just looking for a puppy to love!!!

Simple advice...If it sounds too good to be true, it probably IS!!! stay well clear in my opinion...;)

You should read the tread in the off topic section called "I'm scamming the scammer" These people are really sneaky. Test her and tell her you would like to drive down to pick the puppy up or ask for an email copy of the vet records and see what she tells you.

yes i would definetly ask her if you could "pick up the puppy instead as youd like to see its previous home" and "dont want to traumatize the puppy with a flight at this young age" ;)

RUN! Def. a scam.

Your best best is to find a breeder where you can see the puppies in person.
