Is 8 mos. too late to tape the ears? My Lil Deuce Coupe is so cute, but I think he'd be even cuter if his ears were up. Have I waited too long?? |
Guinness doesn't have his ears up. I like them they way they are, they perk up just enough and we keep the hair really really short around the edges to keep them clean :) |
I love it when the ears flop over!:D Tessa's ears were floppy until she was about 5mths old. I wish they would have stayed down because it looked so cute! |
My Ceasar's and Max's ears are both floppy and I love them. At 12, Ceasar still looks puppy-like. People never believe he's that old. I absolutely love the floppy ears. Like someone else said, I keep the hair trimmed and they stand up a little more. |
It couldn't hurt to try. What have you got to lose?? |
Holly's ears went up and down more times than I could count. At 8 months, a couple of months after her spay and teething were finished, I tried yet again with the taping. I kept it on for 5 days. Both ears are still up. It is worth a shot. Just leave the tape on for 5-7 days at least. |
Ears :confused:Aiden is almost 4 mo and his are down still. He is teething, and I've shaved his down, but they're not up yet. They look too big to me. I asked YT about the need to clip them,( I never had a Yorkie before)and it was a BIG NO NO!!! I love him no matter what his ears do. I just think his are so big that I can't picture them totally up. |
Hot Rod's ears went up at 8 mos. He was neutered at 6 1/2 mos and had a bunch of teeth removed. I guess he was still teething. I did tape them but I didn't leave it on for over 24 hours. I only did it for a few days. He scratched and broke the skin so I stopped. I also had the groomer shave his ears completely. So far they are still up! Good luck. |
1 Attachment(s) I have the best of both worlds, Nico has one up and one down. |
they say that's a little late, but I would give it a try. Make sure you trim them first |
