Friends of Animals I was just informed that this is very good. My vet recomended to obtain this certificate prior to neuter/spay procedures. The Cost of the Surgery will be less expensive. What do you guys think? This only applies to a regular procedure but I guess it's always good to have information available. Friends of Animals | Spay/Neuter Certificates Request |
Thanks for this info. I requested it because Bella will soon be going in to be spayed. Interested in the outcome of cost savings. |

When I spoke to my vet the normal procedure was $334 by using the certificate my out of pocket expense will be $165 (this is for the cone, follow-up visit, medications) I guess over all it's a savings of $ 105:confused: It makes a bit of sence overall. |

Please note that if your puppy needs a special procedure, changes are this certificate wont work. In my case Kacy needed an exploratory neutering and I couldnt use the certificate. Before you order such, please check with your vet that way you dont end up loosing your money;) |

I actually use this certificate service and have recommended it to a few people on the board. It will not cover blood panels or pain meds, but will cover the actual cost of the spay/neuter. I paid the extra $12 for pain meds to take home after my baby had her surgery. |
