Guess where Buddy went swimming? IN THE TOILET BOWL:eek: Yep, this dingy dog finally did it. I was in my bathroom getting ready to go out and he kept jumping from the toilet seat onto the vanity when I finally put the seat up so he could not bother me. I thought he would have been smart enough to know the different of up seat and down seat but he didn't. I heard a SPLASH and looked down and there he was fightening to get out. My first thought was to get the camera but the look of shock on his face was enough to make me grab him, fast. He could not get himself out because his hind legs kept slipping on the porcelin in the bowl and he couldn't get a good grip to jump out. It all happened in seconds. What next? I swear this Yorkie is going to be the life of me. |
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Poor baby! Dont you wish you had a camera in every room of your house.... on and ready to shoot! |

I can just see his face when he hit the water - you'll be laughing after you recover. Tell him next time - wear his BATHING SUIT ! |
OMG that had to be soooooooo funny. I'm sorry but I would have had to take a picture first. :D |

Since he has learned to jump on the counter I keep the bedroom door closed when I'm not home incase I forget to leave the seat up because he can't get down from the counter. Never did I expect the fool not to know the difference. I hope he has learned his lesson this time. I'm getting too old for this! Or maybe he's keeping me young. Hmmmm that's a thought. |

LOL I have to admit it flashed in my mind but I just couldn't. If the silly fool does it again he will just sit in the bowl until I get the camera for sure. |
I would love to have seen his face... what a shock.. poor baby.:) |
Oh poor Buddy, I'm so glad he's okay but that is funny!! One time when Jake was just a pup I was cleaning the toilet, and he was nearby chewing a bully stick and watching me. He heard the sound of the toilet flush, did the yorkie head tilt, and within a flash he was across the room and jumped up to see what that new sound was. I swear, I think he would have fallen in if I had not been right there. I literally caught him in mid air, and it all happened so fast!!! I had no idea he could jump like that because he was only 10 1/2 weeks old and I had only had him for a few days! It's amazing how fast these little ones are and how they can jump!! In fact, I think I saw Jackson actually fly yesterday. Not sure, as it happened so fast! |
oh Buddy, that's not the place to swim!!! |
Silly Buddy! |
Oh my! I am glad that you were there to retrieve him!!! (a picture would have been cute.... but I am sure that the little guy was panicking). I always wondered if they could possibly get in there!!! We have a pee pad in the spare bathroom so the door is always open, and I have always made sure that the seat cover was closed....... now I will definitely make sure of that!! (I would hate to think that my furkids would get in there and drowned. :( ) |
Oh Buddy! lol You're so silly! Good thing you were there, tho. Poor little guy must have been terrified. One minute he's jumping up to the counter, and the next he's sinking in a hole AND he's all wet! |
HaHa. Carol, you know GUYS don't know the difference between seat up and seat down! |
