Can she be at risk... of getting ticks at the lake or beach? I'm taking coco to the lake/beach tomorrow. She's on advantage but that doesn't cover ticks. Are there ticks at the beach or is it just camping and stuff like that? |
I think the ticks are more in woody areas....I would think the beacj should be fine...I know this sounds really gross but bring alcohol (the rubbign kind) in case so you can suffocate it and pull it out..God Forbid!!!, I think what I use (Frontline pLUS) covers ticks also..but I still comb him and check him for fleas everytime we leave the park. |
 I'm definetly switching after this last dose. How do I pull it out if she gets one? So put alcohol on cotton and smother the tick, then pull it out with tweezers?? EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW |
I think so...But I just carry the stuff around to LOOK perpared if it came down to it..I would probably cry to someone to help me...lol, I hate bugs!! |
No nasty icky ticks better touch my Coco!! I bet she's going to have a BLAST tomorrow, the lucky little lady!! If she (god forbid) does get a tick, make SURE you pull the WHOLE tick out - be careful not to leave the head in. |
If the tick is attached, I would put vaseline on it the tick will smother and fall off with just a Qtip. I'd check real good because when Lacey was on Advantage I found a tick on her but it was crawling in her hair. I changed to FrontlinePlus |
