give me alittle more sleep please can anyone tell me when these little babies start to sleep all night ? and at what age do they calm down....? lexi is waking up at 5am... and wont let me go back to sleep....im sooooooooooooo tired.... |
Maximus wakes up at 5:48 no matter if we go to sleep at 10pm or at 3 am...but I have gotten him to go back to sleep for the last month...when he wakes up, he goes to pee and then I bring him back on the bed and rub his tummy...we both go back to sleep until 6:45 when I wake up and on the weekend we wake up around 8:30-9ish..he is almost 6 months now |
Sophie woke up at 5:30 a.m. for WEEKS. As she matured, she eventually stretched it out until 6:30 or later. I would estimate that happened for her around 4 months. She's now 6 mos old. Sometimes I get an occasional 8:00 a.m! |
Ramsey is 4 months and he is always up early. And he always makes sure that I wake up with him! I hope he grows out of it, but I doubt it. |
Annie is a year old now and if we let her sleep on the bed with us she actually lets us sleep until we want to :D She'll try to get in a few licks every once in awhile if we move  , but if we pretend to go back to sleep she will to :D God do I remember waking up at 5 am every morning... |
. ok so it probaby is an age thing.... im glad you told me that... i guess i have to wait quite a few months and get used to it.... |
Bailey is 6 months old and he's still up at 5:30am every morning. I let him out of his crate to go to the bathroom outside and then I go back to sleep. He's usually fine until about 8, then it's up and at 'em |
try taking him out to pee and bring him back in like everyone was saying. nugget wakes up at about 9:00am every morning and crys for us to take him outside. when we bring him back in he either falls back asleep or plays with toys... try taking your dog our for more walks at night or try to get her to exercise more so she gets tired. this seems to work well for us. goodluck |
Yes, it is more of an age thing. But there will come a time when you have to tell her "Hush" if you know she just wants up early but doesn't have to pee. I used to just get my puppy up if I had to get up in the middle of the night and take her out to pee. That way we could both sleep a little longer in the morning. |
I feel so lucky. I've had my guy 4 weeks now, he's 11 weeks old. Our routine is play and go out from 6 to 8 pm. settle down from 8 to 9. bed at 9 or 9:30 (in his crate). wakes us up between 6 or 6:30 if he absolutely has to go #2 (will pee on pee-pad in his crate if it's just #1). If he doesn't get us up we get him up at 6:30 when we get up and take him out to potty and then put him in his playpen while we take our shower. We're so lucky. :D |

Just kidding. You are lucky! |
That may be her all night. Katia wakes up at 6:30 daily but she has always done that even when we first got her. |
Great post! I've been wanting to ask this question. Stomper is now 8 months old and that little SH** still gets up around 5:45 AM and is ready to play. I swear he is such the morning puppy! So..for the last 6 months that we have had him, I've always had to get up at 5:45 AM since I can't sleep well with any noise. For those of you that had this problem at 8 months can you give me the reassurance that he will eventually sleep later!!! I've tried everything - I even tried to take him on 3 walks or have him stay up real late. IT DOES NOT MATTER!!!! :) He has an automatic alarm clock at 5:45 AM! It drives me CRAZY!!!!!!!!! |
hmmmmmmmmm ......... toby has been sleeping through the night since we got him(we got him when he was 12 weeks old), he went potty in his crate ONCE the first night... but NEVER has done it again, well.... the second night and thereafter we decided to keep him in bed with us and he had a little restlessness because of kennel cough, but other than that he would sleep pretty much from 10- 6am.... |
I'm the luckiest mom in the world, both Chloe and Lacey are in their beds between 8-9pm and up at 7:30, when I get up. They have done this from about 4 months of age, as best I can recall. Lacey was so small, I arrange her kennel so she could go to the pee pad during the night but she did this only for a week, max. In fact, I still keep it down for some unknown reason, I guess I feel like I wouldn't want her to have to go and has to use her kennel because of her size, but she never uses it. |
