It's Time 3 Attachment(s) For my Baby to get his first haircut. He's 6 months old now. I have made the appt for next Wed. He has a lot of hair and its pretty silky. I am sad as he is probably going to look like a big boy after and my little puppy will be gone forever :( I need to clip him to a puppy cut because he has become a tick taxi lately and I can't stand it anymore. They are crawling off him because of the Advantix and i hate finding them crawling on my floor! He is also going to spend alot of time swimming and camping this summer so it has to be short. I don't want it shaved down though...is there a happy medium? My problem is that I have to cut his head hair short as my hubby insists no topknot. RIght now he looks like a sheepdog with his hair covering his eyes. I can't get it to stay back even using pomade. DO you think once it's cut short it will go back? I see so many pretty little faces and the hair stays pushed back how do you do it??? Can you all post some pictures of your puppy cuts that have no topknots? Here is a few pictures of Ozzy's coat now. Thanks for you help! |
Mine have a few bangs in the front with their long top knot going around the sides. It keeps it out of their eyes. Ill try to find a pic. |
1 Attachment(s) Here are Zoeybear's bangs. The top knot hair just falls to either side and stays out of her eyes when it is down. Good luck. |
It's a sad time knowing their first cut will make them look more grown up. THe puppy cut, however, will make him continue to look like a puppy as long as the groomer does it correctly. His coat is so pretty. Sorry you have to cut it. Buddy's hair above his eyes is cut into a V along the side of his nose and I keep the bangs short above the eyes. Can't stand hair in his eyes. I think you can see in my avatar. Good luck at the groomers. |
