Head turning white/gray? My puppy's head appears to be turning white/gray at the roots! Is this normal? What does it mean? |
This is very normal. If you look in the general Discussion section, there is a sticky labelled Yorkie coat, color and puppy growth chart thread and it explains this real well for you. |
its normal my Kuma was the same when he was a pup and now his hair is beautiful golden color, my puppy now Kaylee is the same her hair is gray/white hubby jokes that im stressing her out with to much loving |
It is normal. My girl is almost 4 months old and hers started and the "white/grey" is already an inch long! It is super soft! I do believe that over time it turns golden. |
Baxter is turning gray too. I was hoping that meant he might be platinum. He is also getting silkier. I was afraid we were going to have a cottony coat. |
I got the same thing going on with Harley and she is 4 months old. Her hair started turning grey but now it looks almost white closer to the root. She leads such a stressful life I swear. Full of things like playing, going for walks, eating, sleeping, and staring out the window. Boy, am I glad my life's not that stressful. ;) |
same thing happened to lexi in her earlier months. now shes tan and gray. its so shiny too |
I was wondering the same thing about my Roxy. Thank God for Yorkie Talk! |
