Ozzy is 6 months. He has been sticking his tongue out his whole life. This was a picture we took when we picked him as our puppy out of the litter at 7 weeks old. Such a cute little monkey :D

Momiji almost always sleeps with her little tongue out!!!

I am happy to know Jezebel is not the only one....wow I had no idea it was so common! She sometimes sleeps with her tongue poking out and she sticks it out when she's playing get mommy. :p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p

Our first yorkie, Brutus (bless his heart), used to stick out his tongue on command when we would say, "give us your cute face." I found a picture of Brutus doing it for the camera. We still miss him so much!

Coco sleeps with her tongue out too. And if it is out very long it gets really cold and dry. Then she can't quite get control of it when she wakes up. LOL Love the little tongue shots.

I LOVE all the pictures!! Yorkie is just the BEST!!! I think they are so cute when they have their tongues sticking out!!! I have one too!!! I hope she was not licking bcoz she just ate something off the lawn!! :p

my "rescue" yorkie Bailey had his little tongue sticking out the first time I saw him and now that I've had him for about 6 months, his tongue is always sticking out a little and I agree, that it is the cutest thing. My vet even noticed it and thought it was cute, too.

I have 3 Yorkie's, and only 1 out of the 3 stick their tongue out? Artie sticks the tip of his tongue out when he is sleeping and snores heavily. My other 2 that are females, Mother & Daughter don't do it at all? I wonder if it's a Trained Behaviour? Everytime I see him doing it I tell him how cute he is! So maybe it's another Trick to make me pay more attention to him? Since he has me Trained so well?:animal36

Sully and Fynn McCaul both sleep with a little bit of their tongues out but Rosie O'Grady beats them hands down when awake or asleep! :)

But Nygee & Gizmo don't... Tongue or no tongue, they all melt my heart!!!

Buster doesn't usually have his tongue out, but you can sometimes catch him in the right moment.

Here is Baby Chloe with her tongue out. The flash didnt go off, so I had to lighten the pic (if the colors look funny). You can also see what we call her "chicken wing" where they shaved her front leg for an IV during her spay.

Here's my "tounge Out" boy!!! His name is Rocco, he is 13 weeks old, and seems like he just hasn't grown into his tounge yet!!! We have had him since Wednesday night!!
And he already LOVES his big sister!!!

My 5 month old Biju sticks his tongue out at least twice a day. I haven't seen him sleep with it out yet :animal36

Cinderella has her tongue out all the time too. I haven't yet figured out the timing of her cuteness yet. Like what, or when her tongue sticks out. Its the cutest thing in the whole world! The other night, my husband would try to grab it, and then she would stick it back out again everytime again. So funny!

I wonder what it is about Yorkies and their tongue sticking out. I have never heard of any other breed of dog that has this cute habit!
