I was sent this message in my private email.... This is the second one like this in 2 days...

Hi!

I was forwarded your address from Julie K about a Yorkshire Terrier. It is with much hesitation I am doing this but I am left with no other choice. I have a 2 year and 11 month old Yorksire Terrier that needs a new home. I just had a baby 7 weeks ago and this is just not going to work. He is NOT good with other animals or small children. Do NOT think your pet(s) or children are an exception because they are NOT. He has never bitten anyone maliciously nor another animal but he has nipped my husband in route to attack our other pets. Therefore, I cannot run that risk.

Jax needs a caregiver that will give him LOTS of attention and take him on walks. He has been trained but needs the reassurance of training at times. He is a GREAT companion and will make a super indoor pet. Jax is an inside dog, plain and simple. If you are not intending on keeping him inside then this will not work for you.

There are a few stipulations as well. Please know that I will check out your background to make sure he will not be used for testing. I will ask that you pay a nominal fee to insure that he will not be used for testing or will be given to a testing facility. I will also have you sign a contract that if for any reason things do not work out with him, you will return him to me so I can place him in another home.

Jax has been neutered, has all his shots up to date, flea and heartworm treatments are current and he also has pet insurance. This isn't much but I believe it is worth mentioning that we believe he might be developing a cataract in his left eye but our vet says it is in it's early stages and not an issue to his health.

This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do so, please, only contact me if your serious and your intentions are for the best well-being of this animal. I have had over 30 responses so please, only contact me if you can meet the requirements and are serious.

Didn't include that I don't even know a Julie, and everyone know's I am all set to get a puppy from Tiffany Kennels.....

thats interesting...... i'm not sure what to think. i guess it could be a scam. the things that make me go hmmmm are that you don't know a julie. also that it said he can't be with other animals at all yet the last pic is him sitting right next to one. i'm not sure what to think.

First have you called her? Where is she from?? What kind of money is she talking about?? Why you?? I would ask all these questions, Who knows maybe its not a scam, But I don't like the part that says "I have had over 30 responses so please, only contact me if you can meet the requirements and are serious." WHo told her you wanted this dog??? I'd call her or PM her. See what this is all about.. It can't hurt to find out.. :(

I could swear that I have seen on yorkietalk today, a picture of a yorkie with a black dog that looked just like that. Let me look around and try to remember where I saw that.

Okay, didn't they just say that the yorkie didn't get along with any other animals?? then they send a pic with him/her cuddling with that scottie? I'm confused.

Could it be that maybe you were looking for a yorkie and somebody here in YT told her about it and that is why she PM'ed you. Just trying to rationalize why she would PM you.

Nope, this was sent to my private email at yahoo. I know of all the folks I have talked to on here about finding a good breeder, and none of their names were Julie K(she didn't even offer where she knew me from). But, what still strikes me as odd, is the picture with the other dog, how she went on about testing(who would do that to a baby), and if she was so concerned about finding him a good home, and she has had more than 30 offer's...why contact someone new, why don't she screen them...

Hmmm...seems odd to me! I can't wait to hear "The rest of the story!"
