bees and yorkies? Hey guys Okay... first off, I am deathly afraid of bees Second, I had all the windows and doors open yesterday because it was very hot, and a bee must have flown in at some point. I just saw it now, and I'm freaking out what if it stings one of my yorkies??? How will i even know, and what happens if it does?? How do i protect them? .... and does anyone have any ideas of how to get it out of my house?? I hate bees :( |
I'm not sure what advice to give you but I had to tell that one of my yorkies swallowed a bee at a local metropark. She started acting strange and I picked her up and ran to the car. She laid in my lap and died on the way to the vet. They were able to resuscitate her and she was fine after that. However, I have been terrified of bees around my yorkies ever since. |
Yorkies can have a life threatening allergy to a be sting just as people do. I'd either swat it with a fly swatter or spray it with wasp and hornet spray. |

I say invest in some window screens.. especially in the windows that you plan to have open on a regular basis. |
