How much bigger do you think she will get? Holly is 8 months old and weighs 3 lbs. 7 oz. I thought she was 4 lbs till I had her clipped short and saw how tiny she was. I checked with the vet and got her current weight. So, what do you guess her final weight will be? She has a petite build. The breeder thought she would be around 5 lbs. but I'm not so sure. |
I don't think she will get much bigger then that. She may put on some weight if shes a real good eater but thats about it i'd say. |
I don't think she's gonna' make it to 5 lbs!! Most of the girls don't fill out like the boys do, she probably will put on 1/2 lb at the most!! |
My baby girl is almost the same age as your baby (mine is now 9 months old), I weigh her every week, so I know very well about her weight gain. She had been gaining 1 oz per week, but for the past 3 weeks, she maintain the same weight (2 lbs 14 oz), a lot of people said usually they will slow down gaining when they are 10 months old and they will just fill up a bit more (like 1/2 a pound to 1 pound). So I would say your baby might gain just a bit more, but I don't think she will make to 5 lbs. |
Wrigley weighed 3.09 when she was 9 months old and a year later she was 6lbs even and she's NOT overweight! We were shocked because we thought we would be lucky if she made it to 4lbs! So I guess you never really know, she was 1.13 when we brought her home at 12 weeks! |
size Since she has a petite frame at 8 months and is under 4 pounds, I think she will finish closer to 4... |
I think she is done. In my experience my girls were fully grown size wise by 7 months. They do put on a few more ounces when you spay them. |
I don't think she will get much bigger now..Pixie will be 1 year 4th june and is around 3lbs...she has a tiny, slight frame too. I'm hoping that when i pluck up the courage to get her spayed that she will put on a little more weight!;) |
