Gotta brag a bit
 

Saturday when I got home from work there was a letter waiting for me from Tails Inc.Magazine.
A few months ago I entered a few of my pet pictures in their yearly pet photo contest. The letter said that out of thousands of entries, one of my pictures was chosen as a winner! There were several categories, and I entered all of them with my different dogs, lol. I did not know which of my pictures had won. I went on line to see which picture and what category I had won with.
As soon as I saw the picture I started to cry!
It was my dear little Bonnie. I had just finished giving her a massage that day, and she was relaxing on her back with her head on a pillow. I put the covers on her tummy and told her to close her eyes, and she did, but she kept her sweet little smile the whole time she pretended to be asleep. It is one of my favorite pictures of her. She passed away suddenly just a few months ago and I still miss her terribly.

It is funny too because Saturday the new magazines arrived at my grooming shop, but I did not bother to look at one! I was too busy grooming dogs and was tired at the end of the day, lol. If I had only known...

YOu should have won, that picture is PRECIOUS. ANd how cute was Bonnie. You mean you guys could communicate like that, you could tell her to PRETEND to do something???? THat is awesome. I am sure you do miss her, a baby like that comes along once in a lifetime. Hugs to you.
