Does your Yorkie ...lose interest in stuff she (or he) seemed to love at first? I give Wembley some food to try, and she goes nuts over it, and then the next time she doesn't want it (like watermellon). I gave her a greenie a couple of times, and she chewed on it all day, and so I went out and bought a huge bag of them, and now she only takes them to immediately hide. She doesn't chew on them at all anymore. She does it with some toys, too. Any one elses' like this? |
Yep! Drives me nuts! I have so many greenies hidden all over. I took my daughter to camp two weeks ago and when I un rolled her sleeping bag (at camp) there was....a greenie. |
Yes our kids do the same thing. They seem to get bored with things fast. Either that or they have gotten use to me coming home from the store with a new treat or toy. Maybe that is why I have heard the expression "spoiled rotten Yorkies" LOL |
Yes, usually happens with toys for us and Yoda. He sort of has too many of those... ;) |
That happenes to me with Gucci. She loved natural balance at first, now she is being very picky. I mught change her food now to Innova. I think some yorkies are just picky. |
I thought it was just Eddie. Someone told me about nylabones, so I bought about $40 worth. After 2 or 3, he stopped chewing on the plain ones. So I bought some dentabones, basically a nylabone with nubs. He went through 3 or 4 of those, and he's already losing interest. The only thing he keeps going back to is the one thing I don't want him to have: sticks. |
Yes....welcome to Yorkies. They're very finicky little things. Just when you thought you've figured out what they like for din dins they go off it and you have to start all over again!!!! |
