 Yorkies w/white faces? I have seen several pics of Yorkies w/white& black (rather than tan & black) faces. What type of Yorkie is this, pure or mixed? Thanks.:confused: |

 Your probally talking about a biewer or parti yorkie. |

 No mixes... You have either seen a parti yorkie...whose coloring is considered a color variant fault by the YTCA. They can be registered AKC but not shown. Their coloring varies in color and placement Or a Biewer yorkie...which is tri colored and orginated in Germany. These are not recognized as a seperate distinct breed by AKC, but they're working on it. Biewers are shown in rare dog breed shows. Biewers have a standard for color placement. Also biewer's tails are not docked. The coloring of both is from a recessive pie bald gene. Reggie in my avatar is a biewer. |

 Usually the whiter face would be a Biewer, like Beauty in my avatar. Even the colors on the Biewers' face and body parts are variable. (My website has lots of pictures, as do the other breeders.) |
