Does this mean he cant stay???? Lana loves Zod to death, And I mean literally to his death. She was running around and chasing him and generally playing with him but, she almost ripped his head off. Scared me to death. Shes also pinned him to the floor and took a good bite into him. Didnt break skin but I think thats because I was screaming so loud Lana was startled. Shes SOOOOOO rough with him, and shes only 3 lbs. Of course he might be a pound soaking wet. I dont know if I should keep him amd see if it improves or just let him go now(he has a loving family that already wants him). Lana is my hard dog training wise and she is your typical female. Things could and probably will improve with time but Im not sure I should risk his life to get there. Im so torn,Ive never had to make a decision this tough before. |
awwww im sorry to hear that. I would see if they started to get along better and if not i would rehome him. I know it would be hard we get attached so easlity to those little furbabies. |
Theyve gotten along so well this morning. I wonder could it be a night thing, Like our skinbabies and their witching hour? |
Do you think there just Playing hard?? My guy's look like there gonna kill each other But it's just ruff play. |
Aawww, sorry to hear this....I had the same issue with our kitten.....but as the kitten grew up he started holding his own, it got much better at about 8 months old........I hope they work it out so Lana can have a buddy..... |
How old is Lana? Zod? (cute names!) its possible that as he gets bigger they will do better. I'd just keep an eye on them and then seperate them when you cannot. Im sure they will do better in time, sounds like its just playing right? This is not fighting is it? |
I have a 7.4 lb Pommie and a 4.8 lb. Yorkie that I watch all the time when they play. The Pommie is young and I don't trust him to know when to stop. Don't get me wrong. They love each other, but I don't want their play to get out of hand. I also kennel them separately when I am gone. Don't want to take the chance. Guess I don't think you have a problem as long a your little ones are supervised. I've been doing it for about a year so it is possible. Good luck!!! |
Now their back to beating each other up!!!! I think it is nighttime playing. Lanas coming up on a year and Zod is 6 weeks. And I think maybe its just rough playing. They did curl up in the small kennel together to sleep. Poor Tank is getting beat up by Zod. Tank sleeps Zod attacks. |
