Sleeping under Covers! He has a serious issue with always wanting to be under a blanket when sleeping. :rolleyes: I just sat down on the loveseat with the laptop and he jumped up and waited for me to pick the blanket up so that he could crawl under it. LOL I would get a picture but if I move he will get up too.:) I have never had a dog that loves to snuggle as much as he does. I had to laugh the other night... My husband and I were in the bed getting ready to go to sleep. I dozed off and I woke up when I felt my husband reach around and pick up my covers. Diesel wanted under them. Well Diesel just sat there and looked at him and refused to move. So I picked them up and he couldn't get under them fast enough!! :D He is so spoiled..and very much a momma's boy! Does anyone else have a baby that does this? |
Yup one of mine HAS to be 'under'. If Im laying on the couch with my sweatshirt over me he wants under my sweatshirt.... he always sleeps under the covers in bed and under a blanket on the couch. He LOVES to snuggle! He will paw the blanket til someone lets him under. Luckily it does not HAVE to be me, but someone has to lift up the covers to let him under! LOL |
Lily always has to be under Covers, she loves to snuggle to. If there is no blankets on the couch she get as close to me as she can w/out being on top of me and tucks her feet and head under me as much as possible with out being sat on. |
Yes, both Peanut and Daisy love(d) to get under the covers to sleep or just cuddle. I think it's adorable and it feels so good to have those warms spots against your legs or back :) Abby hasn't done it yet, but she's still a puppy. She'll be 15 weeks old tomorrow. I'm sure she'll do it as well. |
Yes Winston loves to get under the covers too! When he was really little he always slept around my neck on the pillow, and still does but not quite as much. He usually starts there and then closer to morning wants to cuddle under the covers!!! Spoiled...YES!!!! |
Gizzie sleeps under the covers also, she too will paw at them until she gets under there:rolleyes: rotten babies |
lexi is the same way,, in the middle of the night she will come sit on my pillow and wait for me to lift up the covers and she crawls in and snuggles as close to me as she can. she likes to listen to my heart beat |
Pi'i, my youngest, loves to snuggle under the covers and sleep curled up under my arm. Kalani will occasionally want to be under there with him if it's really cold. Hoku, on the other hand, will freak out if a blanket is even slightly over her:rolleyes: |

Lol, I know what you mean, Lil Miss Maggy May is the same way, she LOVES being under the blankets snuggled up to me, if anyone tries to move her though, she gets mad and growls at them. |
dont u just love it that they snuggle martini loves being under the covers and actually lays right next to me so she is warm and keeping me warm shes the cutest snuggler ever...i love that they have these great personalities. |
Both Benji and Bella both do that too. Except Bella likes to sleep all the way under at the bottom of the bed and Benji likes being under there all snuggled up to me. |
Well there's always one in the crowd that has to be different and that's Bud. He hates being under the covers infact he won't go! I tried to cover him several times in the winter because I keep the temp down in the bedroom and window cracked and afraid he will get cold and he growls at me! Even laying on the couch he won't go under only on top! I guess he's just hot blooded;) |
Jake has a thing for blankets. He likes to be covered up. Jackson prefers not to be covered. They are opposites in every way! Jake has certain blankets that he likes more than others. When I wash them, he gets so excited when I bring them back up lol |
Yep Kammie is a snuggle bunny too! Anytime I am covered up with a blanket on the couch, chair or bed she has to be under it. She is just so darn sweet! She won't snuggle with anyone else but me. If I don't havwe a blanket she can't get her little furbutt close enough to me either. If she could be on my chest all day she would, lol! Koda likes to snuggle to but he also likes his space, thank goodness cause me lap is only so big ;) |
Out of my three Yorkies, two like to be covered every night---one against me and the other not touching anyone, including another Yorkie.:eek: To accommodate Rosie's unusual sleeping habits I got a cuddle sack from www.Tinkerbell'sCloset.com here on YT. She loves it. Cocoa periodically likes to be under the covers against me but it has to be on the right side with only her behind touching me. Chipper is the one that always curls up against me to sleep. Love it!!! |
Sebastian is an "undercover baby" too! Before he snuggles to the bottom of the bed he plays "peek-a-boo" with Daddy. He sleeps so sound all night long that I have to wake him every morning! I have to pull back the covers to wake him up and then he looks at me as if to say, "Do I really have to get up?" |
Mia always sleeps under the covers!! Its so funny. I get up in the morning and see this little lump moving toward the pillows and out comes this big fuzzy mess of hair. |
Snuggled his topknot completely off! My Buddy crawls under the covers several times a day- nap time and all night long. He has worn the hair off the top of his head. I KNOW he is a Yorkie, but he's looking more like a Chihuahua every day!:eek: |
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be careful if you have Yorkies that sleep under the covers. There are YorkieTalk members who have lost their Yorkies because they have suffocated while under the covers. We may cover our Yorkies' backs with a blanket if they are cold, or use a electric heating blanket. This may not be a popular post, but please remember that accidents can happen as a result of sleeping under the covers... |
Sadie loves to sleep under my down comforter. I do worry about her suffocating, but she has been doing this for five years now. Still, I do worry about that. During the day, she has a big flannel pillow she sleeps on, and she likes a small baby blanket (light weight) put over her body from the neck on down. It is so cute. My parents have the same flannel pillow, and just tonight Mom came over and I sewed up the sides of a new pillow made out of a smooth, silky material because the flannel will be too warm this summer. She was already laying on the material. |
I just had to psot this. Last night I was in Petsmart looking at fish. Well my dughter goes over into the cat section and comes back with a bed that I just could not resist. Whisker CityŽ Plush Kitty Sack - Beds - PetSmart Diesel just LOVES it... I took some pictures of him just a few minutes ago so I will post them in a bit. At only 18 bucks I couldn't turn it down. It is VERY VERY soft. |

Diesel is 4.5 pounds. I would go take a look at it first and see. They had a bunch on the shelf. Even if she couldn't crawl inside it would still be a nice comfy bed. He loves his. |
Hehe! I sleep every night with 2 doggies under the covers with me! ALL night they are down there. And same as several of you ladies, when I am on the couch or something they get under my blanket there too. Between the dogs and my son I have NO room for me!!! LOL |
Yes! If Archie is in bed with me, or even on the couch with me and a blanket, he does under the covers like a flash! If I'm lounging on the couch, he will dig at the edge of the blanket with his front paws until he can find an opening. Strangely, when he is in his crate (in which he sleeps most of the night, he resists my attempts to cover him up and eventually balls his blanket up into a lump! |
Faith likes to sleep under the covers just like us she'll have hear head on one of our pillows and one paw on the outside of the blankets, or she'll sleep under her baby blanket that I crochet for her, Yoda however just like to be close to us wherever he can as long as Faith isn't growling at him. |
