Ok I love my husband very much but sometimes I just want to kill him. This last weekend my husband grilled out...Hamburgers... well some of them burned and like a brain dead person he threw them into the woods. Well my two little ones found them....(he thought he threw them where they couldn't find them....yah right...these two can find food in the next county) I couldn't figure why they kept going into the woods....same spot...and would not come when called....they are very good about coming when they are called.....well Monday night I mentioned this to my almost dead husband...(I say this cause i could have killed him when I found out) and he said...oh oh...I threw the burnt hamburgers in the woods....right where they have been heading all day...well needless to say I came home yesterday from work and there was diahreaha all over the house not to mention cat puke (yes my cat is going through something now too) I would have left it for my husband to clean up but he is out of town until tomorrow....and no I could not leave it for him...so I spent almost 2 hours cleaning this up and this morning there is more....not as much thank GOD! He is lucky he is gone and I won't see him until Sunday cause I am leaving tomorrow until Sunday.....

What was he thinking!!!!!!!

OMG...I think you've earned a day at the spa!!! That will just begin to help. My husband steamed clams on the grill and put the shells in the driveway...we have a stone long driveway,and I guess someone told him it's ok to drive over them???? Well I could've killed him. Sometimes they just don't think.:rolleyes:

Yes they seem fine....they really aren't babies....one is 5 and the other one is 2.5 I call them my little ones because they are littler than my 14 and 12 year human babies..lol....

HHHMMMMMM...I wonder if I have time build a dog house by the time he gets home....and yes I could have used a spa day after cleaning that up..yuck...and boy did it smell....(sorry to be so graphic:p)

Oh yeah that sucks! Awhile back the guy I was dating brought my boys a dentabone. I had no idea they were no good for dogs in general, but the next day one of my boys had diarrhea EVERYWHERE!!! I was panicking cuz of the way it looked.... I found out (from here) it was from the dentabone and not to feed them that. Ohhh I could have killed him! LOL

hhmmmm...I did not know that about the dentabone....The girls have one but no problems...they really don't chew on it that often...they don't really care for it....but I will throw it away cause I definitely don't want a repeat of yesterday......

thats not the word I would use to describe my husband right now.....I have other choice words but if I used them on yorkie talk I would probably get banned...but trust me I used them on him last night when he called to check in.....

I am just wondering besides the little ones getting into the woods to eat these burgers wouldn't this also attract unwanted stray animals into your yard etc.:eek:

Great point Tina. My husband loves to put large pots of stew, or soup, etc... on our back deck in the Winter. He figures it's a free ice box (it's cold here, so the temp is fine). Even tho' he bungie cords the lid on (such a guy thing, right?) I'm affraid it will attract a wild animal up to our house. We have woods behind us too. The man is so stubborn, he won't stop doing it. Soooo, I'm right behind him moving it to the extra refrigerator in the basement (the one with ALL the free space!). Gurrrr....MEN!

Perhaps we need a new "venting" thread :D

My husband wanted to give the girls a ham bone this morning!! I just stared him down (he's in trouble anyway from some other things he's done lately with regard to the girls) and told him "Sure, that's fine and the container of baby wipes is right here for the diarrhea." Needless to say he didn't give them the bone.

Oh the dreaded bungee cord thing:rolleyes:....everything could use a bungee cord...I can sure relate to that...not only could it bring animals, but it is also just something that sits there out in the open...not too "asthetically pleasing"!! My husband's new project is making wine and he is so excited because it is the first hobby that I am letting him keep in the house!! The color is very pretty and it is in a cool glass jug!! Goes with my decor.....:D Function and esthetics hard to combine!!!

Don't even go there! "Asthetically pleasing" Oh boy, my husband has an old pair of dirty track shoes (you know the kind that were worn in the mid 70's) that he must keep around for certain tasks (the list keeps growing). I've never been one of those wives to throw a man's favorite shirt away when he's not around, but I swear they will just disapear one day (along with the popasan chair in our basement).

I'd love a wine making husband (would help me overlook the sneakers).:D

:eyetearssGood one cooperk!! My husband has a pair of those grass stained, ripped, smelly, dirty, holey "work" shoes too that must be kept for those all important jobs that he performs!!! Bungees rate up there with duck tape for those "manly" fixes!!!:D

Wellll, hubbys DO have brains, but sometimes the on button gets stuck and we have to kick a lil to get it unstuck, lol. Hope the furkids are feeling better soon.

Well Lilfoot, I do hope most of the cleanup was on tile/vinyl/or pergo type floor and not carpet. I do not know what I would do without my carpet cleaner. I wish I had hardwood or tile all throught the house, but I don't. My carpet cleaner is a life saver. It does take so much time though.....It never fails though that you would be the one home and he is away!!! Sorry, glad the dogs are doing ok!!

Canned pumpkin is good for diarreha. I know what you mean about hubby's! They have mush for brains. He kept playing with his hands in front of her face, so then she started biting everyone. I told him, and told him, but he wouldn't stop. Finally I threw a fit and he stopped and so did the bitiing. I also had her bringing toys right to me and dropping them, but he had to reach and pull on them, etc. so now she won't drop them in front of you. I swear, I don't know how we raised my four children without him killing them. When I tell him not to do something, he gets mad and says she likes it! Well, Yeah! but it's not good for her! EEKS! Drives me nuts!

Yuck! He is in BIG trouble. I've been there (my boyfriend's dog was sick and I was the one to clean up her diarrhea!) It's nasty!!! He owes you big time. Hope your babies feel better!!

oh yeah.....my husband does the wine thing too! The color is pretty WHEN it stays in the bottle....not so pretty on the floor when he is transfering it from bottle to bottle...

oh pleeeeaaaaseee...if only it would have gotten on the pergo floor or in the back room cement floor.....but noooooo it was all on the berber carpeting downstairs and the area rug upstairs aaannnnddd in the bedroom on the plush carpeting.....and yes my carpet shampooer was a God send...but will be scheduling a professional job soon...I can't stand the thought of what was on the floor...
