Dog ID Tag Just wondering if your Yorkies have personalized dog tags that you buy online? If so, from which website? Do you have pictures of your baby's dog tags? I would really love to see some. |

Red Dingo Has anyone ordered from Red Dingo? How did you go about it, because I see no "shopping cart" on the website. |

Got Them!! I found an ebay vendor that sells the Red Dingo dog tags. I got mine today and it's amazing. I have never seen another tag of such quality, seriously! I haven't put it on Garrett yet as I have not yet chosen a collar. But here are a few pics of the tag. I love it, I got the medium size 1" tag, I was gonna get the small, but since I don't know how big he's gonna be and I want it to be visible, I went with the medium. http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...dGFnLmpwZw.jpg http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...GFnMi5qcGc.jpg http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...GFnMy5qcGc.jpg Search Dog Tags or Kwigy Bo on Ebay and look for ebay store "Haute Pets"......she's wonderful. |

I used the machine at Petsmart, they also have one at the Walmart here. You are able to pick your tag and type in up to 4 lines of info for $4. When it's done the machine spits out your tag and a ring to connect it to the collar. |
I bought mine from Wal-Mart....they have a machine in the pet section. I got it for $4. |
I bought some Fastags ones they are lovely ,you write what you want on them with an indelible pen then heat them in the oven and they shrink , they come in all sorts of styles.:D |
Walmart here also! |

but just fyi I heard AFTER I got Gracies that you shouldnt put THEIR name on it... because if someone is trying to steal your dog then they will just look at the tag and call them by their name and they will usually come... so good luck! ;) |

I like it because it gets lost in the fur. Bella got out last year. My SD i think left the gate open. I got a call that someone found Bella 30 min drive from my house:eek: someone must have found her and drove her across town to a big university. I guess bella got away from them because a lady said Bella came flying around her building and ran right to the lady's arms. She found the collar hidden in her fur. I have a feeling if whoever stole Bella would have seen it they would have taken it off. Also even though it is just a thin bathtub type chain, when you look at it it almosts looks like it doesn't come off!!! Even Bella's Groomer leaves it on all the time. I like that part.;) |

I have ordered from boomerangtags.com last week. Hoping to receive it soon. The dingo one looks good but I want to be able to fit more info on it. I wanted something durable and able to put in a lot of information on it so I ordered a 2 sided stainless steel small bone tag from them and felt good enough with their testimonials. Wished I have seen the fastag sooner. They are cute. Maybe I will order another one for his harness  Not sure if I can justify buying another tag to hubby though. Is the fastag durable and able to withstand the test of time? Edited to add: I have put in his name and my address. Maybe having his name on the tag will actually help someone to call him over if he is lost. And to justify putting my address on it which to some people it is not smart, I just like the fact that if someone finds him, it will be easier to return him. I have heard of people putting vet's phone number on the tag the vet will not provide info on the owner because of privaacy issue so I skip the vet's number. If someone wants to steal him, it will not make a difference whether there is an address on it or not. And I put 5 phone numbers on it just in case. |
Talking about ID tag earlier on, I have just receive Pao's bone tag from boomerang! It looks neat even with so many words that I wanted to put in and the letters can be seen clearly. He looks so cute with a bone pendant dangling :). I also bought him a car shaped charm but I am afraid if the ID tag rub against the pet charm worn together, it wouldn't last as long. |
I got mine from snugglepuppies.com soooo cute! i got the navy blue with the paw print, cant wait! i got the small, they say its the size of a penny which seems around the right size? |
Extremely Important Id Tag Info!! No matter where you get your pets ID tags...there is one important thing to add to it so that your dog has a much better chance of getting returned to you. I have been doing rescue for a long time. If you dogs gets lost, or (heaven forbid) stolen from you...most people who find it might want to keep a cute little doggie, it is very tempting, especially with yorkies...but one way to get them back...even if it is stolen...write this on your tag "NEEDS DAILY MEDICATION" Most people would not want to keep a dog it they think it will cost them money. Medical problems with pets are expensive, so your dog is much more likely to get returned to you if this is on your tag. Sue & Cricket :aimeeyork Quote:
