Constantly barking at everything. When you tell him to stop he turns around and acts like an unruly child. You can not catch him to put him in time out. I raised 4 kids and have 7 grand kids and he is putting me under.LOL Potty training has gone to pot. He stays in our bedroom at night in his bed. There are 2 pads in there. This morning he had tt'd 3 times on my floor during the night. Got to where he will go wherever he wants to. Beats me. I'm so disgusted. Toes and feet he will not leave alone. If you tell him to stop he will bark at you and stand there and argue with you. I really don't know how to get this little monster under control. Whre did I go wrong? :thumbdown This little monkey is a little dictator. :p I love him with out a doubt just had to blow off some steam. | Of course, you love him! If you didn't, he'd probably be living in the garage right now! :D Gee! I had to laugh about the harness. That reminded me of something that happened to my mom about 13-14 years ago with Muffin. She decided to take Muffin on a walk on her leash to her friend's home, which is two houses away and they were sitting there in their lawn chairs just chatting away and mom looked down and noticed Muffin had chewed through her leash, but she was still just sitting there! :D It was chewed completely in two!
I think you can officially say that Herk has entered his teenage years! They all go through them. It's just like people. Some are worse than others.
As far as the barking goes, I don't know. If you can't catch him...
As far as the potty training, Herk makes my nearly 4 month old sound like a dream! I'm not going to brag yet, though. I think I'll wait another 6 months and see how those months go first. :D
As far as the toes and feet go, I've already broken Kacee of that by using pennies in a can. Lots of pennies! ;) It worked for her, but they are all different. She wouldn't pay any attention to me when I said no, either. It went in one ear and out the other.
You've somehow got to become the respected adult in the house and get him to pay attention to you when you tell him something. Good luck! |
