Tucker is 8 months old. He started lifting his leg at about 5 months old, but only sometimes. He was neutered at 6 months and still only lifts sometimes.

Blaze will be 8 months on the 16th (neutered) and has yet to lift his leg. He use to squat but he is becoming such a lazy bones that he doesn't even do that anymore.................he just stops and goes!!!!! Its pretty funny:p

Nico squats on the paper and lifts outside. The best of both worlds.

my chippy pees with is pee pee near the floor.. and so does rocky.. but sometimes rocky will lift his leg up when he's near a tree or something.. but for the most part he pees with his pee pee near the floor too..

i don't know.. i don't think they'll ever full pee with one leg up.

Hey, just thought I would throw this in because it's cute. My pookie knows the tree part! He is 5 months old and leans up on the tree and then squats. He's got his favorite tree! I'm holding off on nuetering him because I want a leg lifter! That is if the theory hold true with him.

Reese was neutered at 6 months...he lifts his leg. It's not leg lifting neutering helps prevent...it's marking.

OKAY here it goes with Murphy. :rolleyes: Murphy started lifting his leg at about 4 months old and he still lifts his leg. I think I have had him at the vet about a million times thinking he has a Bladder infection because the boy just goes outside to lift his leg and nothing comes out. I think he is marking but yet never does it in my house just outside - thank goodness. :thumbup:

The funniest part is he will stand there FOREVER just lifting his leg in the middle of the yard with NOTHING coming out. :rolleyes: My hubby and I tell everyone he is practicing his YOGA.:p No lie he stands there a really long time. I think Nikki has seen it she can back me up. It is quite funny...my little Yoga Yorkie! :p :p

I even have a picture...excuse his little top knot...I was trying to see what he would look like girly that day. His daddy came home and took it right out - ha, ha!! :D

Murphy rocks! He is THE yoga dog. It is so cute- he is totally relaxed but the leg is up. It's adorable! Sometimes I swear he is thinking namaste!:p

Ha, ha....yes exactly what he MUST be thinking I mean what else could he be thinking that WHOLE LONG time he is just standing there. LOL!!! :D :D
