Ready for another furbaby ... but family says no I see so many of you guys with several furbabies . I love my Jax aand jolie so much and ready for another 1 or 2 ... I am a little nervous about how they would react since they are so spoiled. My husband and son say that two is enough . I do not think so and if I could I would have at least 3 more . Am I crazy or what ???? But if anyone ever needs to rehome a puppy or adult I am in Texas . |
I used to want one more also but mine are pretty demanding of attention. I really dont see how anyone has time to give enough attention to more than 2 but thats me. I hope your able to convince your famly to get more |
I have 4. 3 yorkies and an older pom. They all find there place and it is so much fun to watch them interact. Roxie (7 months old) and Pixie 2 years old play the most and Cali (3)keeps to herself but they will all lay together and if I could afford more I would definately have more. I do not find 4 anymore work just more expensive. |
I have 3 Yorkies and a Pommie. I would love to have another Yorkie but I realize that it would not be wise. Two of the Yorkies are older and requiring more medical attention. The Pommie needs both knees repaired. Too many medical issues. I also feel that my two seniors are in their twilight years and I need to focus on them. Too soon it will be time to say good-bye. This is just my situation. |
I would love to have 1 more but I have learned the hard way a nightmare can be just around the corned...not to mention the medical expense! My little girl Cricket jumped off of my bed at 7 months breaking her front right leg...it broke her radius and ulna completely in two. She had to have surgery by an orthopedic specialist. They put in a metal plate and five tiny screws to save her leg. The emergency room visit was over $600 and the surgery nine days later...was $2,200.00...of course there were several visits after that to remove her cast, sutures, and film retakes to check her leg....she is completely healed but we are now well over $3000.00 for her leg alone. I have since found out Cricket has grade 2 luxating patellas.....I contacted Dr. Bertrands office to find out what the cost is to fix this ....when the time is right we are looking at $1500 per leg. If I really love my little girl and give her the best life I will have to pass on another Yorkie. Of course I have my little Paxton and he so far has only had poop issues...thank goodness! His knees are perfect and no liver shunt issues or heart issues either! Boy I had no idea how expensive these pups can be  Anyone looking to get a Yorkie really needs to do their homework.....don't buy from a pet store....BYB or anyone U.S.D.A. Certified!!!! |
