i feel soooooooo terrible
 

hey guys so im gettin ready for work this morning and abby starts acting up. she runs to the living room and wud not come to me wen i called her. i went to her n then she starting hiding n running away from me. she was goin under tables n behind couches n around the center piece thingy in the living room. anyway i boxed her in between two couches so she wudnt get away n wen i bend down to pick her up, the speaker falls in slooooow motion. i let out a scream cuz i thought it was gonna squish the life outta her. wen it hits, it lets out a loud bang and abby let out 2 loud screams n ran backwards to the the other end of the couch (the whole time she was behind one of them). i got sooooooooooooooooo scared cuz i thought it fell on her n im not sure till this moment if it did or not. i picked her up so fast n held her. i called my boyfriend crying n made him come over right away. she was shakin like crazy. i then touched her all over to c if she screamed from pain or sumthing but nuttin. i even checked her legs n put her on the floor to walk. she seems fine cuz she walkks, jumps n runs without limping. if she was hurt she wud b limping right??? i think she just got scared cuz of the bang n me yellin. im still gonna check her again wen i get home but my boyfriend is w her right now n he says she seems fine. please tell me im not evil cuz i swear i wud never hurt her on purpose. :cry:

You are not evil! lol We've all had things happen that scared our poor little babies, and ourselves!! :eek: Try as we might, things are just going to happen. All we can do is our best to protect and take care of them. Spend some one-on-one time with her when you get home. I find with Gracie, that a nice walk outside and then some snuggling time makes me feel better. :D And if you're lucky perhaps she'll associate the scary noise with not coming when you called in the first place. ;)

Oh both of you were scared. She should be fine if she is showing no signs of injury now. Accidents happen so don't be so hard on yourself.
