Twice in one week!!!! Just wanted to update you on Bailey after he had a seizure on wednesday. Well 2day he had another one  It was just the same as the last one and again i took him right to the vets for a cheek over. They have booked him in on Tuesday for ALL blood tests to be done to also check his liver but they said it could also be Epilepsy. :shocked7q I just feel so down about it all. I know that anything they do am sure he will be able to live a happy life even if he does need to be on medication for the fits and i will defo make sure i do everything i can so he can be ok and live a normal happy life, it just upsets me so much that he has to go through this as he is only a baby himself being 6months old. I hope that it comes back that nothing is wrong with him :cry8: He seems ok tho, a few min's after the seizure its like it never happened he is back to running around biteing Leah and playing with his toys. I should get the blood results back on Wednesday/Thursday so i will keep u all updated, please pray for him that the results come back thats it is nothing serious :hands: thanks you :cry2: |
Prayers are with you...i hope everything turns out okay.:) |
Oh muy goodness! Please let us know what they decided! That is so hard and expecially since he is so young. Gosh, I just hate to hear these things! My prayers are with you and of course, him. Please keep us informed! Pat |
I hope all goes well with his checkup. Maybe you can find out what's causing the seizures and the right treatment for them. Please let us know what happens. |
epilepsie My brother has a Yorkie and a Yelloe Lab. The yellow lab Chelsie is epileptic. They had quite a scare about a year ago. She seized for the entire trip to the vets 45 minutes. She's huge. My brother thought for sure she would die on the way to the vet. My nephew Zachary is autistic and head over heels for these dogs. Animals calm him so much. He alos goes to horse therapy...Big improvement in behavior...anyhoo ...Chelsie was examined and diagnosed. She y=takes Phenobarbitol daily in the a.m., and nothing since. Totally lead a normal life . Runs after Lexie (the Yorkie w/ much attitude) She catches frisbees, balls ect. Hang in there. Once you get your diagnosis, you'll be relieved and you'll deal with it. I wish you the best. Keep up your spirits. Melissa;) |
I'm so sorry to hear this; I hope that everything works out so he can lead a normal life. Please keep us posted on Bailey's condition. |
