Louie will probably be ready to please the ladies in a few months. My neighbors mom has a toy poodle and she wants to breed it with louie. i have been looking at pictures of some porkies (hehe) online. Some are cute and some are just... not. Now either way i would love it, but my question is do they look different if its a boy yorkie and a girl poode instead of a girl yourkie and a boy poodle?????

They are more commonly know as yorkie poos. My mom has 2 and they are the sweetest dogs ever. I had the daddy a yorkie and my mom sister had the mother a toy poodle. My mom's older dog looks and acts like a yorkie. I absolutely love her.

She is a great dog. I don't know how most yorkie poos are but from my experience you can't go wrong. Just my opinion.

her neighbor wants to do it. well, obviously, mix-breeds are not ideal (i shouldnt talk since Rex IS a morkie, but in the end it is up to what YO uwant to do

I love mixed breeds as well, but don\'t believe in adding to the already thousands of unwanted mixed breed dog population in shelters. I don\'t think ANYONE can tell you what a female \'yorkiepoo\' will look like compared to a male \'yorkiepoo\' if that\'s what your question is. It\'s a mutt and mutts don\'t have standards. :confused:

LOL. In ALL HONESTY when I read the title of this thread I thought it was about FAT YORKIES - as in "porkie!" lol.

Getting more serious here, breeding just for the sake of breeding and esp breeding mix breeds without any ryhme or reason is a bad bad idea. I\'ve posted ad nauseum about why its a "bad bad" idea. But please take my word on it.

Personally I wouldn\'t do it because I feel like if I was to breed Coco, I would want her offspring to be full breed. That\'s just me though. I think this mixing of toy breeds has just become fashionable. I wouldn\'t risk it, not knowing a lot about your neighbors dog\'s history, health, ect.

your right they dont have standards. i had pick of the litter and rex was the only bbalck/tan one. so i got him, my unque babby hehe. he keeps changing drastically as he grows and i uv the part where i wont know what he will look like full grown

I did not know that Rex was a Morkie. He is so adorable though! One of the cutest Morkies that I have seen!

thank you, rex thanks you to, but yes, he is a "pure" Morkie hehe he gives them a very good name, but he gets prejudiced and once or twice people scoffed at him and called him a mutt that belongs on the street. :mad: :eek:
