What Does Your Yorkie Puppy Do All Day? I Have Been Home The Last Three Days And I Am Curious, What Do Other Puppies Do All Day. I Don't Leave Mine For A Minute!!! I Feel Like He And I Are Stuck At The Hip. We Go From The Kitchen To The Living Room To The Sofa To The Floor To Play And Then Back To The Sofa For More Rest?? Hmmmm.... When I'm at home, Riley gets up around 8am. Eats, gets the zoomies, plays, watches cartoons, takes a nap from 12-2. Gets up, eats some more, follows me around EVERYWHERE!! Plays some more... Waits for daddy to come home. Then when he comes home... they play for about two hours. We eat dinner. After that he PLAYS AND PLAYS AND PLAYS till he gets tired. Lol. Riley is already a year old and he still does all this.:p |
My yorkie is like my little shadow when I am at home. He follows me everywhere. Even when I take a shower he curls up on the bathroom rug and takes a nap. When I am not home I'm not sure of everything he does, but he does leave me little clues. Like the fact that I leave all of his toys in or next to his bed and when I get home they are scattered all over the house. I'm pretty sure he tries to play with the cats too, cause when I get home they have both taken refuge up on the couches where he can't reach. But whether or not he takes naps when he is alone he sure does have a lot of energy when I step in the door! |

My baby goes to doggie daycare during the day! He eats, plays with two other yorkies, takes a nap and gets spoiled by the workers there. |

Mia is my little shadow whenever I'm with her... I usually take her to work, when she stays home alone, I don't think she does much other than sleep and anxiously wait for me to get home! Right now she's curled up in a blanket on top of my desk while i work (and play on YT!) |
I don't think Mia would be a good girl at daycare either... So far, she's 5 months old and way to spoiled to play well with others!! She plays well with big dogs that don't pay much attention to her but she can be a mean/aggressive little thing when it comes to other small dogs!! And she's VERY possessive of her mommy! |
When my boys aren't shadowing me, they are playing with each other and playing with toys. They love to play tug-of-war. They chase each other around and get the yorkie zoomies a couple times a day. When they get tired out from playing, they nap.:) |
Momiji sleeps all day long when I'm at work. (I know because I watch her on petcam!!) When I'm home, she is sleeping on my lap or bring her toy to me so I would play with her. She also goes to daycare twice a month and I have no idea if she likes it there or not..... But worker there sure love her!!! |
Itsy isn't potty trained fully yet so she has to stay in her X pen while I'm at work all day. Lately she likes to turn her bed upside down and shove it across the floor into her potty pads :rolleyes::p When I'm home with her she spends most of the day watching TV with me or chasing and wrestling with her favorite play pal, Mr. Luci (our black cat). They like to both lay stretched out on their sides on the floor and take turns pawing at each other. They look like they're playing one of those schoolyard clapping games. |
Mine sleeps much of the time. If we don't have anything exciting for her to do, she is on top of the pillows on our bed.:) |

I'm not sure what Linus does when I'm at work, but today I came home early and surprised him, and he was asleep in my winter jacket :) |
I know that my Bengi sleeps all day while I'm at work. I kinda knew he sleeps but I confirmed it when I installed a petcam and I can see him from work. While I'm at home, he plays, plays, and plays :) and he's 2, not a puppy; it all depends on the personality of the dog. |

I am one of the few fortunate enough to have my pup with me all day. Well, except when I go workout....but for the majority of my work day he is right by my side......and I can tell you he spends the majority of it sleeping in his little bed in my office or sleeping behind me on my chair. Yes, he eats, drinks water (of course) and goes for his little pee breaks. If there aren't any clients in the office, he even gets to do Mock 1 through the front office. Everyone adores him and doesn't mind. So to let you know, in case you were wondering what they do while you are gone.....sleep sleep sleep.....at lease MOST of the time. Don't get me wrong, if there is something he can tear up, he will find it. Hee!:aimeeyork |
Kayla gets up when my husband goes to work so she wants to eat then. She eats, tee tee's, poo poo's, sleeps. Eats, tee tee, poo poo's and this is like every hr. on the hr. Then she will aggrivate the schnauzers inbetween naps. Waits for daddy to come home at the door. On Sat. we like to sleep in and she sleeps with us. She is use to getting up at 6:00 so she wants EVERYBODY up. She threw a fit Sat. and chewed the wall behind our bed. I almost fainted when I woke up and seen what she had done. It will have to be resheet rocked and painted. I told my husband to wake up and see what his little darling did. lol!!! He thinks she does no wrong. |
i'm not sure what Moses does while I'm gone during the day. All i see are the results....a shredded pee pad and toys spread all over his gated off area. :mad: Most of the time when I come home, I find him on his bed....he looks like he's just waking up so i suppose he's probably been sleeping off the toy & pee pad events. :rolleyes: as soon as i let him out & goes wild, playing or following me around the house until bedtime |
My three are like a lot of us working stiffs....and just waiting for the weekend. When not performing their jobs as official greeters...or traumatizing the mailman....they sleep. |
OK, now that I finished writing this, I am sure that its more than you want to know. On Mondays and Wednesdays Katy goes to Doggyday care. She runs, plays annoys and gets annoyed by all of the other dogs. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, she gets up meets me at the door to say goodbye, gets a treat then goes back to bed (going to Daycare is hard work). Around 1:00 she waits at the door for me to come home and have lunch with her. We eat, then I go back to work, she will go lay out in the sun and watch the birds in the back yard (doggie door). She might roll her ball around and self treat. Then she waits for us to come home and throw the ball around or play chase. On Fridays Yeah!! Its Daddy and Katy time, she is home all day with daddy. Right after I leave, she will jump on the bed and sit on his chest and look at him, until he wakes up. Once he is up its game time. They will play hide the toy, chase or ball. Then they go to work pulling weeds or working in the garage. Sat and Sun are family days. We all spend time together. |
