Last Few Days 1 Attachment(s) Next Friday I will leave with Mika and all of her little things to take her to live with her Mommie in Atlanta. My daughter wanted to go ahead first and get settled in before Mika came. She's finally house trained and has stopped chewing up most things, and will actually be still in your lap for a while. She loves to sleep with you now and I don't spend all of my time following her around to be sure she doesn't make mistakes or tear up the world. Now that she is a delight to live with, I have to give her up. I know I know get your own yorkie....I can't I will be traveling far too much in the near future, but I am not ruling it out forever.....but why here at the end has she become more adorable, and I just want to kiss her all the time??? Woe is me. |
Awww Marilyn I'm sorry that the time has come to take Mika to live with your daughter. Hopefully one day you'll be able to get your very own Yorkie baby. PM me if you need to talk! |
Thanks Belle You have always been kind to me. |
2 Attachment(s) This morning was a bIGGGGGGGGG time play time. I'm going to miss her. She wouldn't let me stay on Yorkie talk without throwing her rabbit. On the second picture I finally caught one of those angles that makes them look like she is smiling. The one thing Idon't have is what I call a classic yorkie pose with the head cocked to the side like they are asking "what????" |
I just thought of a great name for the syndrome I am going to have come next week this same time Yorkie Separation Anxiety Distress Syndrome:mad: |
I can see why it would be hard to let her go! But see this as spring training...for when you get your own:D She will never forget you and the time you spent together! |
Thanks Tink...right now she is doing one of those furious Yorkie runs through the house. TOP SPEED. |

Ha! I love it when they do that. I watch my lil guy and wonder....where did all of that just come from? They are such wonderful companions. I can understand why you will miss her so much....she's your grandbaby. I will hope that one day you can get your very own yorkie and the two of you can visit your family in Atlanta together. :big_hug: |

What a difficult thing for you. At least she is going with your daughter & you will be able to visit. How often will you see her? She will not forget you!!!! |

how big is the bead? I would be concerned that it could get stuck somewhere along the way and possibly get lodged or interfere with breathing. I think I'd call the vet & see what they say. My daughter swallowed a penny when she was little & I know they had to do an x-ray to see where it was & then I had the fun task of watch for it to make it's appearance again:eek: A little yorkie, and even a little bead could be a bad combo |
I would post another thread and ask if anyone else has dealt with this - of course they'll say call the vet!! |
