Murphy is 4 months (16 weeks). does that help?

Little Man was born Friday Dec. 21st, 2007. He will be 18 weeks this Friday! :)

really cago was born on dec. 19th i think

and if you go every wednesday since then he is 18 weeks right?

just wondering if you guys went by every week or by months because if you do both ways they dont match up. so was just wondering!

Hubby says that my math don't add up going by the day of the week. I told hubby that I will go by weeks until Little Man is 6 months then I will start going by the 21st of the month to keep track of his age. I'm just weird I guess :eek: LOL!

We have the same date, how did I lose two weeks? I'm confused.

I went Jan 21st is one month
Feb. 21st is 2 months
March 21st is 3 months
and this past Monday, April 21st is 4 months and 4 weeks in a month so 4 x 4 is 16 weeks.

hmmmmm How am I supposed to be doing it?

the breeder and the vet went week by week so for you count every friday from her birth till now


but if you go month by month then they are actually not as old. lol its confusing

i asked a couple of breeders and they actually said they go by weeks till a certain age then start going by months.

thats why i said they dont match if you do it week by week than if you did it monthly

I don't know how you lost 2 weeks! I have every friday on my calander how many weeks Little Man is until he reaches 6 months...then I went to just every month from there until his one year b-day.

But I do believe that is the question of night!

hmmm the vet, for shot purposes, went with my way, I think. We go back on the 3rd. I'll ask how they do it.

Why in the world would they go week by week and then switch to months? What purpose does that serve?

do you ever see the breeders when they post pics of their pups? they do weekly updates


1,2,3,4,5


they usually sell at 10 to 12 weeks

so they go by weeks for some amount of time

i just asked in the breeders section

Yeah so I could just say Murphy would be 16 weeks instead of 4 months but they are actually same same.

I always interpreted 12 weeks as being the same as a 3 month old puppy, it was just another way of wording it.

I'm totally confused now. Am I not getting it? LOL

yeah, I find this confusing lol if i go by weeks my puppy is going to turn 5 months tomorrow.... but if i go by months or whatever she is about 4 1/2 months? :eek: makes no sense!

so i think weeks tells the actually age. I think that most people start going by months because it gets to hard to count weeks.
