I can't say I know how you feel, cuz I do stay home, but I do know how it feels to have to leave and not beable to take her with me :( . Oh what the hell just quit :D |
I wish.. When iam at work i look for excuses to leave early so i can go home and be with him or i just say ill work longer another day! yeah like that happens.. I wish i could just bring him to work with me. Although my managers have let me bring him a couple times i dont want to push it and get in trouble. They love him! I wait for the weekends so that i can spend the day with him! AM I PUDGY OBSESSED OR WHAT! oh come on i know all you yorkie moms are too?! i cant be the only one. |
obsessed Yes I am obsessed with all my dogs people probably think im over the top.LIKE I CARE! I love love love my dogs. :) dianne :) |
i agree..i want to be a stay at home yorkie mommy too |
I recently retired and was researching breeds of dogs. When I came across the Yorkie, it said they were excellent for the retired, elderly and handicapp. Well, that hit two out of three for me. I was wanting a dog to take places, and cuddle up with. So, I got Maggie. She really keeps the day active for me. |
I have often wondered when I see a Yorkie mom talking about taking her baby to work with her what kind of work she does that lets her bring her baby to work. What kind of work do you do? And have you ever thot that maybe they would like for you to bring him to work more often? Have a talk with your boss and see what he/she says. You might be surprised, probably you are right but it's worth a try. Oh, I forgot, if Pudgy doesn't have all his shots, you may be safer leaving him at home until he does. Also if you don't know about it and are taking him out where there are lots of people, get him a Bordetello shot. It should protect him from bacteria from other people's dogs that they carry on their hands and clothes. I think I have that right. Sylvia |
Me too! I'm on YT, for half the day at work too. Actually I'm surprised that they haven't cut off my internet usage because of me being on constantly. And I cannot wait to get home to hang out with my furbaby either. I used to be totally addicted to the gym, and never missed a day. And when I first got Deegan I was planning on putting a pause on the gym until he got settled in at his new home, but then I got so attached and addicted to him that I haven't been back since I got him... and that's been about 6 weeks. But he keeps me running around pretty good too! :p |

I bring his crate and both my locations have allowed him to come as long as he's not barking which works out for me because really the only time he barks is at skittles(my cat). He has already gotten his bordetella shot and has 1 set left before he can be around other pets. HE goes nuts when he see's other dogs.i cant imagine what he will do when he can actually play with them. |
I feel the same way, only I'm still in college. I wonder what my professors would do if I brought Olivia to class in her little polka dot carrier lol. It's not just that we're yorkie-obsessed, but that the world isn't fair to dogs  |

Ooooooo, I just got this on my email and read the whole thing again. I hope no one thot I was being snotty. I meant: I hope I said it right. LOL Sylvia |
I only wish I could bring Ramsey to work.. I've bought him once.. but it was only half a day because I had to take him to the vet that morning and my Branch Manager wasn't here... I work in a bank so it would be hard to have him here. Plus he barks at every strange noise he hears... |

Ah well, a little wishful thinking never hurt nobody... |
LOL dont we all?! that would be great! |
I miss Tucker when I'm at work. I've brought him with me a couple of times, I'm a Project Manager at a Pharmaceutical marketing company. I bring him in to my office and close my door. Problem is, when he is here I don't get anything done! People come in all day long to play with him! When I work from home he sleeps most of the day away, so I still don't get to play with him! |
