A friend of mine is looking at some yorkie pups listed on puppyfind.com. Anybody have any experience with people/breeders on this site?

That's how we found the breeder that we got Roxy from.

It's not a bad place if you're really discerning about it. And we chose a breeder close to us so we could check things out.

i think its a great place that how we found zigi, just ask for reference to verify past sales. good luck

I think its a good place to have access to alot of different breeders. We didn't have any yorkies available in our area so I bought my dogs from breeders advertising on there. Everything turned out ok for me.. dealt with some very nice people.

That's how I found Olivia. Be careful though, you never know who you're dealing with over the internet. Some of our members have mentioned some pretty outrageous scams going around lately (espcially the one where people pay hundreds of dollars for what they think is a puppy, but end up with a photograph of a puppy!) I actually like the site now that you can search by state- makes things so much easier! Definitely know your seller and meet (if possible) the breeder and puppies before you give any money away.

That is how I bought my mother-in-law her chocolate lab. Since I did not live near the breeder, I had a friend of mine (who does live near her) check her out for me and pick out the pup. I just paid the bill and had the dog flown to my mother-in-laws house (or rather airport and they picked her up).

That is how I got Shelby. They were very nice breeders, and I didn't have to pay the fee to see their contact info like alot of the breeders on the site ask for. The prices there are a lot better than nextdaypets.com where I also looked too.

That is where I found Zeus!! I think it is a great site. It enabled me to find a breeder near me so that I wouldn't have to have my puppy shipped. :)

I love that site. I have it so it sends me a new link every day. I marked it so it would up date me when there were new puppies. There are new puppies everyday. LOL I found my Autumn that way. They live about 2 hours away from me and plus they said they thought she would be small and for a small dog the price wasn't all that bad. I would do it again but only if they are close enough for me to drive there. I really don't like the idea of shipping a little puppy all by itself. They must be so frightened. Sylvia
