We had the best day!
 

Today Calli and I met up with "a2luckygirl" and Banjo and had the best day. The dogs were perfect all day. We went to the dog park but it did not have a separate area for small dogs and there were already several large dogs running around so we left there and went to PetSmart (where we left some of our money!) and while we were there we met another yorkie mommy! She had her cute little Bella there for puppy class so we told her about YT and they don't live very far from us so we got her name and number and Calli and I are going to try and get together some time soon for a play day! Then we stopped at Sheridan's Custard where the pups both got their own "puppy cone" courtesy of Sheridan's. They really liked those. After that we went to Gordman's to check out their doggy aisle (and left some more money!) and while we were there we met ANOTHER yorkie mommy! She has 2 yorkies and doesn't live very far away either and we told her about YT too! I am so glad I printed out some of the YT business cards to hand out! We also told both mommies about the Meet Up in June. I hope they get on here and see how awesome this site is. After Gordman's, we went to Petco and of course we found something to buy there too. Our last stop was at the Brookside Barkery and Bath where we just looked around a bit and visited with a couple of the gals that worked there and then headed back to the hotel where "a2luckygirl" is staying while she is in town. As I said, the dogs were perfect and I think we wore them out as they both rested on the way back. I imagine they will sleep good tonite! I had an awesome day and am so glad to meet Ellen and Banjo. They will be back again over the next couple of weeks and I hope we can meet up again and maybe get together with the two new yorkie moms we met today.

Nice! I'm glad you guys were able to meet-up! Now...did you take Calli and Banjo into Gordmans with you? When I worked there, I don't recall us ever allowing dogs in the store, but that was a different time "way back then" :D :D, and I'm glad to hear they're allowing it now if so. I know MO isn't as "dog-friendly" as CA is. Which location did you go to? I'm glad you guys had such a nice day! No pics?????

Yes, the day was wonderful! We had a really great day! Thanks so much Linda for showing me around, and spending the day with us! Banjo slept really well after we got home, and all night! he didn't even bark at all the doors closing, in the motel!LOL!
I really had a nice day- and it was so nice meeting you and Callie! She is so cute!
And they both were so good all day- and we really took them around the town!LOL

I'm glad we got together too, I had a great day! Banjo has the cutest face and he and Calli were soooo gooood, all day.

I don't know if they have any rules about it but yes, we took them in Gordmans (Noland Rd store). We just walked in, put them in a cart, and started walking back to the back where the dog stuff is. Altho, they've taken out all the clothes!!! There were just a few remnants of what was there before. I was shocked because they had had such a large selection before and now, practically nothing. Anyway, no one said anything to us and when we were checking out is when we were talking to the other yorkie mom and exchanging numbers and such and still no one said anything. They weren't hurting anything, just riding along in the baskets so I guess it was no big deal!

As for pics I didn't think to take the camera!!!! We'll have to do that next time.

I was happy to show you around and I hope I didn't wear you and Banjo out too much! I'll bet he slept good, they were in and out of that van so many times, but were so good every where we went. Call me next time you're in town and we can go to some more places!
