Fully Grown? At what age do yorkies reach their full growth? I was always told that my boxers would be fully grown or well as big as they will get at one year. Is that the same with yorkies? Someone I know told me they stop growing at 6 months..is that correct? Thanks!! |
Not sure but I think it is between 6mths and 1year,although some people's furbutts have grown after 2yrs:eek: Hopefully someone else will show up to let us know.;) |
mine stopped growth at 6 month age. I had one girl york before and her weight stayed still at the age of 6 months. I was also that they grow differently, some at 8 months, generally before one year one, few still grow after one year old. Hard to tell then. |
Both of mine stopped at about 1 year. :animal-pa I haven't seen changes since. :aimeeyork |
Oh I wish Pixie would have a growth spurt...she's 10 months old and 3lbs..:p |
Punkin grew until about 15-18 months. She mostly seemed to lengthen in the body. |
Wrigley weighed 5.09lbs at nine months and we went to the vet last week and she weighs exactly 6lbs even and she's 22 months old! |
Ours grew until about 7-8 months, and they it was just a matter of their diet and how much weight they gained. |
