*Fishies* (This does have to do with yorkies!) My fantastic BF is getting another saltwater aquarium. We have a 65 gal and he's upgrading to 80 gals or something. Anyways, he was going to sell the old one, but he informed me today that we are going to have two fish tanks! I am so supportive and happy for him. Some how we will make room:rolleyes: for these large pieces of furniture in our cute but little apartment. I smile and say 'whatever you want hunny' because when we move outta here...Oh I'm bringing on the yorkie(s). We can have five fish tanks, and I don't care...but I just know;) he'll only be able to say yes to me too! I hope so at least. Anyone else have fish? He's done a beautiful job on the reef in our tank. |
We don't have fish but I love saltwater aquariums. They are so beautiful! Do you have any starfish? You should post pictures.:) |
We have fishes but we want to sell the aquarium. I am sooooooo bored of it now, and IT NEEDS cleaning ALL THE TIME. |
We do! Mark has a 30 gal saltwater. He has a couple of different corals and 2 clowns. We had a 6line wrasse but he died 2 days after we got him. I have my Bailey he has his tank! :):D |
Every once in a while I'll catch Bernie staring at the fish tank. We've got a 38 gallon saltwater aquarium (live rock, coral, fish). Its very colorful and peaceful. I have to say that my fish and my Bernie combine for the best stress relief money can buy. If anyone is interested in checking out some really nice aquarium setups, check out Reef Central whenever you get a chance. The hobby is not cheap - but then again neither is raising a doggy. |
I have a 50 gallon saltwater tank. I have a clown fish named Nemo and a blue hippo tang named Dorey! They are so neat! We had a coral banded shrimp for about a year but he just passed away:( |
yorkies can live in little apartments too;):p hehe I'd love to see the tanks set up when you get a second |
I think fish aquariums are so pretty but trying to keep fish alive is depressing! :p |
I like your thinking. I think you should be allowed a Yorkie per fish. |

I'll post some pics soon. We've got a yellow tang, a nemo fish, two coral beauties....tons of coral...we had a star fish but it died...been having some nitrate issue which should resolve themselves with the bigger tank. Which we picked up today! Mike, I couldn't agree more. I run that one by him! |

I do not have a saltwater tank, but I do have ten very beautiful goldfish! :) Be sure & post pictures of your fish & the tank ... saltwater fish tanks are sooo beautiful & I would love to see pictures! -Amy |
I love aquariums, and it's soothing to me to watch the fish for some reason. My husband had a 30 gallon tank, but the upkeep was so much work and he was working full time and going to school at the time, so he gave his fish to a friend and dismantled it. My MIL used to have two beautiful 50 gallon saltwater aquariums, but once she got older and moved to a smaller house, she sold them. She had some of the most beautiful fish! Now you've given me an idea....;) I will have to talk to hubby and get him to start over with his fish tank....then for every fish he gets, I get a yorkie!:D (All I really want is ONE more lol) |

Good luck to you too!!! :) |
We Have two big ugly piranha (Gaffer and Grip) who share their tank with a grumpy blue lobster (Pierre)! The tank is a jewel Panoramic 290 (I think!), Its safe, up on a cabinet with locks fitted to lid. But to be honest these fish are very skittish and even when being fed they hide when we open the lid!!! |
