Summer is here
 

Ok, so summer is officially here! Well, I call it summer when it reaches 90 degrees in FL regardless of the date;)
Today I went to Walmart and I was leaving and something caught my eye.

There was something moving in a small red truck cab. The inside of the cab was all black but I know I saw something move.

I walk a lil closer and it is a dog!! :mad: This looked like a chihuahua but it was so tiny. it was the size of a half liter water bottle with lil legs. His head was about the size of a golf ball!! His tongue was hanging out and he was running back and forth on the dash board in the sweltering heat!!!:(

I left a note the car informing them it was against FL law to leave a dog alone in a car regardless of the temperature!!! I was not thinking and was gonna leave but then realized what if they dont come out soon????:eek:
I was about to call the police but I waited only like 4 min. A man and a lil boy walked to the truck and got in. The lil boy took the note. I am not sure if either of them could speak or read English. I am hoping the lil boy is in school here and could tell his dad what it said.

My husband warns me all the time to stop being so confrontational because when I see something wrong I take action. Usually I end up face to face in heated discussions!! I am wishing now i had just waited by his car:(

Why are people so stupid??? I know that is not nice but I have to find a way to educate people how dangerous this is.

hmmmm maybe a bumber sticker???
I keep saying I am going to make a biz type card already printed up
that i can just leave on the windshield.
Any other suggestions?

I have also been thinking about flyers with sad pics..but i think it would be easier to keep the cards on me or in my car.

maybe if i worded it nicely ...you know like a nice wake up call

Hi FL Tink ..... I have to agree with you Husband ... speaking your mind these days could be very dangerous .... I admire you for trying to do the right thing !!!

So ... it is already in the 90 there ... what Area are you in ??? We are moving to FL in a few months .... :eek: .... summer time to be exact ....

I know I am just passionate...too much so sometimes. My husband says one day some one is gonna shoot you for speaking your mind..lol
