its amazing how yorkies or dogs and animals in general know when something is bothering you. im really upset right now over some stuff and when my odie-man saw me crying he came and layed his head right next to mine and cried with me =] im still very upset and crying but it did make me feel better for my furbaby to love on me and try to help comfort as best he can just thought i'd share |
Yes they have a real keen since of this, there little hearts are so big and there is no other love like there love for us unconditionally. |
Awww bless....their hearts have no boundaries! Duncan will always lick my tears and he puts his wee paw on my face as if to say...its ok mommy, cry all you need to and Im right here and will never leave you. Hope things pass quickly for you and you are back to smiles soon. |
stop you two are making me cry.....they are so special(our little or big doggies).......for a thousand resons.......hope your tears are going away;) tina |
They do! What a sweet baby. My brother chi next door has always barked and snapped at me. Never been nice. I had brain surgery last year. And a week or two later I was outside and all he wanted to do was sit in my lap and kiss me. I just cherished it. I haven't seen him since (he's always inside). I really do believe they pick up things. I had heard about them staying beside and comforting ones after being diagnosed with cancer. ETA: I hope whatever made you cry is lifted soon. |
Oh yes how they can feel your moods !!! Hope you feel better soon |

First of all sis ((((((((((()))))))))))))) for what ever it is that is troubling you. But the other night (the night before leaving to start her nw life on her own), my daughter wept bitter tears, and that night, Mike slept right on top of her and then on top of her head. It's as though she KNEW her mommie needed her. |
I kno! I experienced this with all my dogs I've had. My collie mix was especially in tune with everyone's emotions. if someone even raised there voice she'd strut over there with her giant tail wagging and a look on her face like "can't we all just get along!" heheh aww i miss her! Dogs are incredible in this sense!!! |
yea our babies are very special. i remember this one time, my sister and oldest nephew came over for something and Cam'ron did something and my sister started getting onto him and odie just ran on over to em and he started growling and barking really loud as if telling them to stop fighting or he was gonna give them a reason to yell! lol it was too funny and once we all started laughing my sister and nephew couldnt help but not argue anymore |
I hope things are better for you and that the day improved. Glad your baby was there to comfort you. Yes, these babies seems so attuned to us. My boy even knows when things hurt physically. It's almost scary sometimes how he can identify injury -- and not things where it's as simple as smelling blood. (I pulled a leg muscle last fall and he kept coming up and smelling my leg and licking the spot that was hurting!) And if I'm sad, he is like white on rice. They just know. |
In the last six months I have cried often. Jan. 12, '08, my mom passed away because of cancer, and my father just passed away April 10, 2008, also due to cancer. When Lexie sensed me crying, she would come up to me and lick my face and stay close by me. And poor little Molly, with her little head tilted, looked from me to Lexie. It hurt me just as much to see my babies sad and worried, so I would put on a big smile for them and just love them. I actually got Molly the day my mom was cremated. My yorkies could always put a smile on my face. Take a look at your babies and let them comfort you. |

I'm glad you can draw comfort from your babies. Thoughts and prayers for peace and healing headed your way. |
Thank you for your prayers. They are greatly appreciated. Although I'm 42 yrs old, I feel like I'm ten again without Mama and Daddy. I think I may have to get another baby in remembrance of my father. I think my husband is expecting that. What can I say? They make me so happy. |
