Choulita
 
Since Thursday , Jade have a new friend . Her name is Choulita . She is 2 years old . I bouht her from an elderly woman who is going to live in a home for old peoples and she can't keep her anymore . I promise her to take excellent care of her . Jade loves her very much and Choulita is adjusting very well .

Congratulations on your new baby! Can we see pictures? How sweet of you to adopt the little one. Maybe you can take her to visit her previous owner in the home. That would be great. :)

I'll post a picture of her . Yes , I promised to Mrs. McMillan to take Choulita to the home as often as she want because I know she was really sad to let her go . It really break my heart to hear her cry went she said goodbye to Choulita . I cried with her too .

Congrats on the new family member! Man, that's one of those
bittersweet kind of stories happy in many ways yet sad. It is
very good of you though to give this girl a new home and to
also let Mr's McMillan remain a part of her life.

Congrats! It's too bad people can't have dogs in homes.. I bet it would help many people.

First of all I think that Jade's name is awesome!... Mainly because that's my name too. Hehehe!
But congrats on the new addition! I'm glad you were able to find a friend for Jade. I felt really bad about not being able to help you when you asked for Deegan's breeder.

I'm so happy that you got to buy Choulita! Now Jade has a buddy she can play with. I'm sure that the lady you bought her from feels sad but now she knows that Choulita is going to have a wonderful home and that should make her a little happier. Just make sure that you take her for frequent visits, it will be easier every time...

What a kind thing that Mrs. McMillan did for her. Giving her to you had to be the hardest thing but the kindest for Choulita. You are kind for agreeing to take her to visit. :thumbup:

I hope you are ok now . I was just looking for a new one because Jade was crying and crying and searching for Zsa Zsa . I never though that she would miss her as much as me .

A few years ago we lost a Collie/Aussie family member...Her best buddie was my son's Cairn....who went into a deep depression that even made the UPS driver sad. We worried about him and saw no change in the Cairn. We purchased another Aussie puppy and the Cairn came back to his normal self. It was heart breaking to watch. We were greiving and so was he. Poor little guy.

What a great thing you are doing. She is beautiful. Bet Jade is happy to have a furfriend to play with. It is hard to see are furbabies sad. Congrats to you and Jade.

This afternoon , I went with Choulita and Jade to visit Margaret ( Mrs. McMillan ) . Needless to say that both Margaret and Choulita were extremely happy . Margaret was happy to see them both in my little stroller , she said there is nothing too beautiful for two little princesses . Of course , there have been sad moments but I manage to change them . Choulita and Jade gave her lots of kisses and Margaret laugh . We were in what the nurse called the private garden , it is a place where the peoples can go and relax , looking at the little fish pound . Choulita and Jade have had very much fun running around it . They didn't went in the water but bark at the fish , we laugh .

Margaret told me that she was sad about letting her go to a new home but felt a very great joy in her heart because she knows that Choulita have found a very good home where she is loved and appreciated . Her daughter ( Liza ) who is very ill was with us and she was very proud to see that Choulita love Jade and me , and she was adjusting well to her new life .

You are an angel ! What a great thing for you to do and I know your friend Margaret is able to sleep knowing her baby is well loved and has a friend in Jade -

That's one of the sweetest things I've heard ....way to go on taking her to visit and being such a good mom to that little doll - she's just beautiful and I'm so glad she's helping Jade adjust to your loss...You've been through alot these last few weeks - you deserve a BIG pat on the back and a hug - that was very touching.

How sweet of you to adopt Choulita....her name is as beautiful as she is. I can imagine how hard it must have been for her previous owner. I am so glad to hear that you can take her to visit and that she and Jade get along so well. I bet she makes your heart feel good :)

Congratulations in getting Choulita. She is beautiful. You are a great person for adopting her and more to promise Margaret that you will visit her with Choulita. Im so glad that all of you had a great time visiting Margaret and than Choulita and Jade are getting along. Choulita has found a great home.

Diego, I am so happy for all of you!! Choulita has a wonderful home with you and Jade! I don't know if animals "communicate", but feel that somehow they do, and since they both have recent sadness in their lives they will be so comforting for each other. They will both bring great joy to you!! I know how very much you and Jade miss little Zsa Zsa. Margaret is truly blessed to have a friend like you!! ;)
