Overprotective??? I have a relatively large fenced in yard that has a large tree in the center. Thus far the dogs have had full run of the yard. I have done everything in my power to make sure the yard is safe but.... I still want to build the dogs a smaller fenced off area just for them. It would be 8 foot by 16 feet and directly agianst the house. This would keep them closer to me, away from the branches and twigs that come off the tree (they eat them),Away from the fencing that seperates the neighbors dogs (less barking), and away from the ants hills I cant seem to kill. Is this overprotective? Part of me feels Im just babying them to much. Then theres that part of me that says Im their Momma and I am required to protective them at all cost. Tell me am I crazy? |
I don't think your crazy at all. I think it's a really good idea to add a smaller fenced in area for your furbabies. :) I don't think there is such a thing as being too "overprotective". ;) |

I looked into the x pens you buy at the stores and they are soooo expensive and small. I can make this one for $30. The truth is my babies run my life. 2 skin and 3 fur.:D |
not at all ! You can't be too protective of these little ones. :aimeeyork |
I think this is great! I have two separate fenced areas for my babies.... one is their small "potty area" for when they go in and out of the house(never alone) and one is larger area that I take them to specifically when I can stay RIGHT there and watch them.... they think it is like a vacation in the big yard... LOL |
There's no such thing as overprotective when it comes to our loved ones. |
